It’s a good rule of thumb to read the methodology of any poll that has results that sound suspicious. Often they’re conducted in a way that makes them outliers for a reason.

To be clear, this was 70% cellular and 30% landline respondents chosen at random. But the demographics that actually answer their phones has become increasingly suspect in the past few years.
