Correction: Some folks have pointed out to me that since this article came out its been rated False. But after researching I don’t think it’s as straightforward as that. Let me clarify. The article I posted👆said Vindman was fired based on an interview on Face The Nation but...
The interviewer asked National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien point blank whether Vindman would still work in the WH after testifying. See his exact answer here👇Not surprisingly O’Brien didn’t point blank say Vindman will be fired. But of course he wouldn’t since that’s illegal 
They talk about ‘streamlining’ the DEPT & having less positions. It’s a standard trick instead of ‘fired’ the positions no longer needed/redundant. It’s a ‘work around’ & I’d argue it’s the same as firing.
But since it then created a firestorm on Social Media they backtracked...

As a result of fallout from the interview the WH said Lt Col Vindman was still there👇They would to avoid legal issues. But quietly in the background since this story, the WH has changed a significant policy & theres a new rule. An official jokingly calls it ‘The Vindman Rule’...
If the July 25th call were to take place today, Lt Col Vindman would no longer be allowed on it. The WH now limits the officials who are allowed to listen to Trumps calls with Foreign Leaders. And the original interviewee-National Security Adviser O’Brien, decides who gets access
So technically it appears Lt Col Vindman may still hold his position on the Nat’l Security Council (assuming they haven’t ‘streamlined’ yet) but with restricted access to Nat’l Security Activities such as calls between Leaders. It still looks retaliatory & is just as disturbing
I’ve attached the info for folks to interpret for themselves but I decided not to delete my original post, just clarify it. Cause it seems like the intents the same. IMHO it appears they’re nefariously trying to cover up a firing instead of doing it outright & I think thats worse
