/THREAD/ I'll say goodbye to 2019 with the Top 10 Lies included in the biggest scam of the year: #LeavingNeverland. A phony documentary against a dead man (the dead can't sue) created for money and to deflect the attention from the actual, powerful predators in Hollywood.
Number 10:
@markgeragos' manipulated footage. Dan Reed deliberately uses footage from another court case to give a misleading impression that Michael Jackson lawyers threatened and intimidated abuse victims from coming forward.
Number 9: the movie implies that Robson/Safechuck were replaced by the younger Brett Barnes and Macaulay Culkin. Even putting aside the fact that Culkin is OLDER than Robson, the two alleged "victims" have always stated that MJ is innocent. Dan Reed decided not to interview them.
Number 8: Safechuck's mother "dancing" when MJ died because "he couldn't hurt any more kids". MJ died in 2009. According to Safechuck's court files (and what he said to Oprah), he didn't "realize he had been abused" until 2013 (when his family business got sued for 24million $).
Number 7: The Safechuck's house loan that the movie tries to link to the 1993/94 testimony. The truth? Stephanie Safechuck wanted to buy another house and MJ helped her with a loan at a very low % rate IN 1991, YEARS EARLIER. She was supposed to pay him back, but she never did.
Number 6: the burned memorabilia. Fake. Robson had already sold his valuable MJ stuff BEFORE "realizing he had been molested", meaning when MJ was still nothing but his fatherly friend. Juliens Auction confirmed it. The Robsons also tried to sell MJ stuff up until 2015.
Number 5: the faxes. MJ wrote messages to everyone, from his wife to his collaborators and friends. The movie tries to depict the faxes as something obsessive and sinister - however that is in direct contradiction with Joy Robson's own deposition. Then read the faxes themselves.
Number 4: James Safechuck's taped "interview" is doctored. In the movie, MJ talks about the trip to Hawaii telling JS that his best moment was spending time with him (JS). Too bad Safechuck's second amended complaint, filed on Sept. 19, 2016, states something very different.
Number 3: The $. According to Robson and Safechuck the movie was not about money but about having their voices heard. They forgot to mention that they had been suing the MJ Estate since 2013/14 with the same lawyers, for 100s million $, and they were thrown out of court twice.
Number 2: Robson claims that he was molested "for a week" by MJ, at Neverland, while his family was at the Grand Canyon. But Wade's mother testified under oath, twice, that he was with them. In fact, court files show that the Robsons saw MJ at Neverland 4 times over 14 years.
Number 1: Safechuck claims that in 1988/89 he was abused "daily" in the train station at Neverland. The train station didn't exist up until 1994, when Safechuck, who claims the "abuse" ended in 1992, was 16. In 1994, MJ also lived in NYC or Hidden Hills with his wife LMP.
These are the most glaring lies exposed in Leaving Neverland. The total of contradictions, inconsistencies and blatant BS is over 60. Education is the key. MJ was investigated by dozens of agencies and ruthless DA for 10+ years, trialed, and exonerated 14 times. He's no predator.
