Recall that Lawrence O’Donnell made a statement about oligarchs and Trump’s loans, then hastily retracted. I have a feeling there is an effort to spread disinfo about Trump and his loans, and Deutsche Bank.
Until a document is produced for us all to see, or it’s confirmed by more than one reputable outlet, I’d proceed with extreme caution.
Additionally, we should remember that Russia has a long history of faking documents, and mixing fakes with the real thing. washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/…
Off the top of my head, here are some ways that any kind of loan document could/should be verified: against tax returns, against other financial/banking documents, by someone who intimately knows financial details, such was Weisselberg or Cohen.
I would also refer to primary source information when it comes to court proceedings and what’s said or not said when it comes to this topic. Read transcripts and/or listen to audio when/if possible.
One last thing. Observe all the trolls that came out to play when I mentioned Deutsche Bank and Mueller; a demonstration of the desire to gaslight us on the subject of Trump’s finances:
For any new followers, I’m not saying there’s nothing there w/r/t Trump’s finances. I’m saying we want this info very badly and are prime targets for disinfo on this subject. Here’s what I’ve written about DB and Trump to date: mobile.twitter.com/search?q=From%…
If you’re wondering why in the world it would benefit an enemy to purposely push something that’s mostly true, mostly damning, but other (key) parts false, look no further than the frothed-mouth ramblings @ recent hearings.
Consider also that even though a relatively small percentage of Americans are on Twitter, something that trends on this platform can dominate a news cycle just because it’s trending on this platform.
Above, I mentioned primary source info. Here, you can listen to Douglas Letter, counsel for the House, arguing re Trump’s financials.
