#DavesCarIDService Not a Flivver, but Mom & her squad are on a 1928ish Willys-Overland Whippet cabriolet/sport coupe ("Flivver" was a nickname for the Ford Model T)
here's a full pic of one with the top up; hood ornament in your mom's pic is an after market Moto-Meter, a popular accessory at the time
Left is 1935 Buick; right is 1935 Chevy Standard
Car on right is 1934 Ford, left a 1934 Studebaker Dictator. Incidentally, former Oak Cliff residents Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow met their demise in a 34 Ford
1940 Ford convertible, minor customization
Dad's striking a pose on a 1951 Oldsmobile Rocket 88
*with its illuminated Indian head ornament, one of the coolest pieces of car brightwork ever made
95% sure it's a 1931 Chevy Independence roadster
1. I wanna say 1917ish Buick touring, but double oval back window gives me pause
2. 1929ish Buick business coupe
3. 1941 Ford Tudor
4. Dublin Dr Pepper rules
1936 Olds, or possibly Buick, 4 door sedan
Two 1928-29 Ford Model As; L roadster, R a Deluxe Tudor
1968 AMC American Rambler; on the other side of the street in this suburban tableau is a 1959 Ford Country Squire
1957 Chevy 210 2-door wagon; not to be confused with the much more desirable Nomad
It's 1933 Cadillac base model 4 door sedan; small diameter modern wire wheels tell me it most likely has a modern drive train. Only exterior body mod I can see is hood vents
Closing out today's episode with some vintage Iowa, and definitely not the same car. On right is a fairly prosaic 1940 Dodge, but toddler on left is hugging a 36-37 Packard convertible, the car that amazingly came with a rumble seat AND a trunk
pretty damn cool feature, if you ask me
