Taehyung and Yoongi own a small dog center, they love each other to no end, have the perfect life, the best friends they could ever wish for... everything is perfect. But what happens when Yoongi falls for someone else?
Hello and welcome to my second Bts Au!😊💜
Please don't reply, because that will break the thread, you can quote instead🤗 I'm always happy to read your opinions, enjoy!!
This fic is a little spin-off to this au:
If you're not into Exo, that's okay. You don't need to have read the first one! One thing you should know about that is that Yoongi is in a band with Chanyeol and produces songs in his freetime but his main job is something else! All other necessary information below:
Yoongi and Taehyung have been friends since college, Yoongi studied music and got a job offer in America right after graduation but declined to stay in Korea with Taehyung. The two own a dog center together and have been together for four years. They have two puppies💜
Jungkook is a pre-med student who wants to specialise in neurosurgery. Despite his ambitious career plans he's still a kid at heart and loves nothing more than cute animals and marvel movies.
Jimin is a model and Taehyung's college roommate. He met Hoseok through their dance club in his first year and introduced him to their friend group. Hoseok is a writer who's working to have his big break and Jimin's current roommate.
Jin is working as a secretary at a big make-up company who does YouTube videos in his free time. He's Yoongi's friend from High School and met Namjoon through their study. Namjoon is a broke artist, he knows Jungkook because they both work at the same bar.
I will start uploading this tomorrow and hope to do so regularly!😊💜 curiouscat.me/bubbleteababy

When Yoongi wakes up on Saturday, Taehyung is already busy stuffing clothes in his suitcase.

"Baby", Yoongi whines, missing the younger's warmth next to him. "What are you doing?"

Taehyung looks up, happily grinning at his boyfriend.
"Packing if course. We need to go to the airport in only three hours", he answers. Seeing Yoongi's wide spread arms he stands up to come and sit next to Yoongi on the bed, allowing the smaller to hug himself against Taehyung's side.

"You could've woken me up to help",
he mumbles sleepily into Taehyung's side.

"But you looked so sweet while asleep, I didn't have the heart to wake you." Taehyung softly runs his hands through Yoongi's hair. He sighs at the comforting gesture.
"I can't believe it's already over."

They had dreamed about going to Hawaii ever since Taehyung's first year at college, when they had watched a nature documentary about the island together. Long before they had even fallen in love. And now it had become reality.
"Me neither."

"I'm so happy we were able to this together", Yoongi says, smile evident in his voice. It's rare for him to voice his emotions out loud like this and Taehyung appreciated the effort.
"We'll be happy at home too, right?", Taehyung adds. "Because we are together."

"Of course", Yoongi answers, sitting up to be at the same face level with Taehyung. "Are you scared of going back?"
Taehyung nods. He's never been able to hide his worries or anything else from Yoongi.

"I know. It's like when you're going back to school after the break. It's okay to feel like this." He leans in closer and presses a kiss to Taehyung's cheek.
He knows Taehyung better than himself and he understands that sometimes his heart was to big and his mind to fast and certain emotions and situations could overwhelm him. Yoongi always made sure to be there for him, to let him know that those feelings are valid.
When they came here Taehyung had been homesick for almost two days, that had gone over too, just as this would.

"It's okay", Yoongi repeats and peppers Taehyung's face with little kisses until he smiles again.

After almost twenty minutes in line it's finally Taehyung's turn to order. Miyeon behind the counter gives him a smile, already knowing his order by heart since either Taehyung or Yoongi come in at least twice a week and always order the same thing.
While she's preparing his soups Taehyung looks around the shop. The line behind him is slowly getting shorter as lunch time is almost over. There's a boy next to him, receiving a sandwhich from Soojin. He's clad in a black leather jacket, about Taehyung's height and
maybe a few years younger than him. He's objectively very attractive and Taehyung wonders why he's never seen him here before. Most people are regulars at Neverland Café and Taehyung at least knows their names. He has to ask Yoongi later, he might know if someone new moved into
the area.

Miyeon hands over his two containers with soup and Taehyung hands her the money. He's about to turn around but unfortunately at the same time as the handsome stranger next to him.

"Oh shit!" Is all he hears before they knock against each other.
The lit of one of Taehyung's soup containers slips off and the whole meal spills onto Taehyung's shirt.

"Fuck, oh my God! I'm so sorry." He looks up to see the flushed face of the boy staring at him in shock. "This is all my fault, I should've been more careful!"
"Oh no, I'm making you a new soup, Taehyung, don't worry", comes Miyeon's voice from the side. He's handing over a pack of napkins which the boy takes from her.

He holds them up to Taehyung. "I'm so sorry", he says again but Taehyung only shakes his head.
"It's not. I should have watched where I'm going." He looks down at the giant stain on the front of his shirt. The one day he had decided to wear something fancy to work.

"Ah but your shirt is ruined and I feel like it's my fault."

Taehyung shakes his head smiles reassuringly.
"It's not don't worry. I can just clean it."

"But... you can't go out like this", he's completely flustered now, obviously hella uncomfortable with the situation.
"Ah it's no problem! I can just zip up my jacket, see?", he pulls up the zipper with a grin, trying to calm the boy down. It seems to work since his face doesn't seem as red anymore. "Now no one will see it."
The boy sighs. "I still feel bad... here." He reaches out and takes a hold of Taehyung's free arm, then he takes something out of the pocket of his jacket. A pen, Taehyung realises. He uncaps it with his teth and turns Taehyung's arm with the underside up before
writing a nine digit number on the soft skin. "Please let me at least pay for the cleaning. I know that's an Hermes silk shirt, you'l have to give it to a cleaner... just ah.. just text me how much, okay?"
He smiles sheepishly again and it's almost as cute as Yoongi's gummy smile. It's really not his fault

"But...", Taehyung starts, but the boy interrupts him.

"Please, let me do this. I'll feel less bad."
Now it's Taehyung's turn to sigh.

"Okay. Alright."

The boy is about to say more but Miyeon interrupts them.

"Taehyungie, your new soup is ready." She hands the container over with a smile.
He receives it and gives a short bow to thank her, before him and the shy boy leave the shop together.

Outside there's this small moment, that's always there when it comes to parting ways with an almost stranger.
"I need to go this way", Taehyung says, motioning towards his right.

"Ah the other way for me", the boy says with an awkward grin.

"I'll text you about the cleaning I guess." Taehyung's still not fully comfortable with letting him pay for it.
"Have a nice day. And try not to run over any more people", Taehyung bits him goodbye.

"You too, Taehyung-ssi." The boy's smile widens before he turns around and leaves down the crosswalk.
Taehyung, shakes his head, staring after him.

"What a weird kid", he mumbles to himself before taking of towards their home, the wet, dirty shirt sticking to his skin under the jacket.

Yoongi lets out a deep sigh, gripping the three bottles of wine, he's holding tighter.

Fucking Taehyung. He can't believe he's doing this. Normally he'd never talk to a stranger, hell he doesn't even wanna speak to him now but what Taehyung wants, Taehyung gets.
That had always been Yoongi's number one premise in life. And if that meant that Yoongi had to try and befriend the cute, weird guy from before, then so be it.

If he only knew how.
The guy is currently staring at the part if the isle which contains all the cheap, in Yoongi's humble opinion, bad wine. He's clutching his hand in one hand while his other arm is wrapped around a giant stack of junk food.
He looks like he's blushing and at the verge of a panic attack. Not the best condition to talk to him, but what was he supposed to do? Tell Taehyung that he chickened out of talking to him? No.

"Hi."
The guy visibly startles at Yoongi's voice, the blush on his cheeks darkening. Slowly, he turns around.

"Hi?", he squeaks, causing Yoongi to grin. He really looked like a scared little animal.

"Aah... I'm sorry for jusy approaching you like this",
Yoongi starts. "But don't I know you?"

The boy, because looking at him now, Yoongi realises that he must still be really young, blinks rapidly.

"Ahem... I... aah."
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Yoongi tries not to frown to much. Jimin told him that he tended to do that, frown at strangers and make them think he hated them.

"Oh no, you didn't!", the boy answers.
He's waving Yoongi off with the hand holding his phone. It has a Captain America phone case, Yoongi notes. Cute.

"I mean aah... yeah we've met before."
"You're the one from Monday, right?", Yoongi asks, even though he already knows the answer.

The boy nods hesitantly.

"You wanted to sign up your dog right?" He knows he's teasing but again, he finds it pretty amusing how the guy is reacting to it.
"Hmm." His blush has now spread over his whole face. "Yeah."

Yoongi tilts his head, a small smile on his face. "Can I ask you something? I've been curious about it since then..."

"Sure...", he mumbles.
"You don't have a dog, do you?"

The boy almost drops a bag of chips at the question, before he looks down, seemingly ashamed.

"No."
"Then why did you come in?" Yoongi doesn't want to annoy him, he's just genuinely curious. "Was it a bet or something?"

The boy shakes his head, biting down on his bottom lip.

"Aah you don't have to tell me, if you don't want", he then adds.
He must not pressure him. Taehyung wants that boy to become their friend, Yoongi reminds himself. He has to be nice.

"I don't really know why I did it to be honest", the boy admits then and Yoongi knows there's more to it but he doesn't want to pry.
"As I said, you don't have to tell me."

Yoongi shakes his head. He wishes Taehyung was here, he's better with social matters. They would have already been friend by now. All Yoongi had managed so far was interrogate him and make him uncomfortable.
"I was just curious. So, are you knew in this area? It's a small, familiar neighbourhood and we don't see many new faces around here."

The boy nods. "I moved to Seoul a few months ago to visit med-school. But I don't go out much, I don't really know anyone yet..."
He looks really sad as he says that and Yoongi has to suppress the urge to just hug him and tell him that everything is going to be okay.

New beginnings are never easy.
"Well, now you know one person", Yoongi instead answers with a smile. "My name is Yoongi by the way."
"I'm Jungkook", the boy says. "I'd shake your hand, but..." He holds up all his groceries.

Yoongi lets out an amused laugh. "Fun night planned?"

The boy's - Jungkook's - face turns slightly sad. "Ah not really. I just finished a really long shift at the hospital and got hungry.
The most fun which awaits me tonight is a random show on Netflix."

He motions at the wine in Yoongi's arms. "You?"

"Oh yeah! Me and my friends are having a movie night... which reminds men that I should really get back to them." He frowns.
"Not that it wasn't fun with you but someone has to stop them from killing each other so..."

He hasn't really managed to befriend the guy like Taehyung wanted but Yoongi really needs to go back before Namjoon loses his mind being the only sane person there.
"Of course, Yoongi-ssi. It was nice to see you again."

"Likewiese. And who knows? Maybe we'll meet again soon, Jungkook-ah", Yoongi says in form of a good bye.
"Maybe", Jungkook answers and for the first time since Yoongi had first met him, he smiles.

It's a warm smile, one like the sun, one that hits you somewhere in your chest and makes your whole body tingle.
Yoongi returns the smile, wondering at the tight feeling in his chest. The last time he had felt like this after someone smiled at him was the night when he'd met Taehyung.

Huh.

How weird.

Yoongi decided not to think too much about it.

"Namjoonie!", Seokjin squeals as the man approaches their table, carrying a tray with two steaming mugs. He throws his arms around the younger's waist and hugs his face against Namjoon's chest.

It takes everything for the latter to keep their drinks steady and not drop them.
"Hello hyung." Namjoon smiles one of his dimpled smiles, nods briefly at Yoongi.

Yoongi leans back in his chair, watches as Seokjin tells Namjoon about their day. His arms are heavy and his shoulders hurt from carrying all those backs of make up and holding up
a camera for most of the time. He doesn't understand how Soekjin can dedicate his life to that kind of job. Yoongi is already tired as fuck after just one morning. He can't wait to get back home to his boyfriend and his puppies and his comfortable couch.
He's about to take a sip of his perfect, perfect coffee when his phone vibrates with an incoming text message.

He picks it up and sees that it's from Taehyung. A smile spreads over his face.
"Why's he grinning like this?", Namjoon asks.

"Do you even have to ask?", Seokjin just answers before picking up his coffee and rolls his eyes.
121)
Yoongi sticks his tongue out at Seokjin.

"Jealousy causes you get wrinkles." Seokjin mock gasps and reaches up to smooth out his face. Then he grins.

"Hmm don't think I have any!"
They drink their coffee in peace, talking about this and that, but not for long.

It's during Seokjin extended explanation about the importance of carnivorous plants to the ecosystem when Yoongi notices something.
Or rather someone. He looks to his left and finds his cute stranger, Jungkook, serving tea at a small table to their left. He's smiling that sweet, shy smile again and the weird feeling in Yoongi's stomach is suddenly back.

"Jungkook?", Yoongi can't help but call out his name.
The boy turns towards them. His eyes searching around before they meet Yoongi's. His smile widens, eyes sparkling.

"Hyung!"
Jungkook walks over to them, cheeks tinted in a soft pink. Yoongi thinks that out of the three times he had seen the man be had never not been blushing. It's so incredibly cute. Almost as cute as Taehyung when he focused on his art and stuck out the tip of his tongue
between his teeth.

Though Jungkook looks different today. The last time Yoongi had seen him he had looked like a broke college student, wearing worn down hoodies and sweatpants, his hair an unkempt mess. Now though, he was in clean black pants and a white dress shirt,
adorned by a dark red apron. His hair is perfectly styled and there's a silver earring dangling from his left ear.

Yoongi feels a weird kind of pressure in his chest, almost as if he can't breathe and for a moment he wonders if there might ne hazelnut in his coffee
and he's about to have an allergic reaction. But then a thought hits him and he forgets about the feeling.

"Wait... you work here?", Yoongi asks when Jungkook comes to stand next to their table. "Then you know Namjoon?"
He nods towards his friend who's back arguing with Seokjin after quickly having prepared coffee for a bunch of young girls. Both of them look up at Yoongi's words.

"Oh ah..."
Jungkook's face gets even more red as he nods shyly.

"Y...yeah? We're friends."

Yoongi frowns in wonder, looking back and forth between Jungkook and Namjoon.
The latter gapes at Yoongi kinda comically. "Hyung, you know Jungkookie?"

Yoongi shrugs. "He uhm... we met a few times. He's the guy from the grocery store, remember?

"Oh."
Yoongi nods and then his eyes widen.

"Oh!"

He points at Jungkook. "You're the one form Namjoon's twitter bio!"

Jungkook nods, enthusiastically. As if he's proud to be of some importance to someone.
"Yeah that's me!"

Seokjin clears his throat next to Yoongi. "Excuse me, gentlemen but could one of you be so kind to tell me what's going on here?"

Yoongi points at Jungkook again. "He's the one who's fault it is that Namjoon is constantly the verge of a
heart attack."

Recognition flashes across Seokjin's face. "Oooh! Nice one kid!" He holds his hand up for Jungkook to high-five him, which the younger eventually does with a confused but smug look on his face.

Cute.
"Wait", Yoongi interrupts their discussion. "Do you really not have enough money for food? So that Namjoon has to feed you?"

Jungkook looks away, rubbing his neck nervously. "Sometimes..."

What follows is a long lecture by Yoongi about how he has to take better
care of himself, before Seokjin ropes Jungkook into telling them about all the embarrassing stuff Namjoon does at work and another conversation about Jungkook's obsession with Marvel movies.

They order more coffee and before Yoongi notices, it's almost six o'clock.

When Yoongi finally makes it home, Yeontan is the first one to notice. He lets out a tiny bark and jumps up from where he's been sitting on the couch next to Taehyung.

His owner puts down the phone, excusing himself after his new friend had finished his rant
about why Iron Man was the best Marvel character in both the comics and movies.

He has spend the last hour putting away all the romantic stuff, the halfdone food, to prepare it some other day and instead ordered pizza.
Pepperoni with extra cheese. Yoongi's favourite.

He had showered, changed his tight pants, silk shirt and choker to a hoodie and sweat pants.

And he had listened to Kook talk, very enthusiastically, about his favourite Marvel heroes.
He had done all kind of things to distract himself from feeling dissapointed and angry about something Yoongi had absolutely no fault in.

He didn't want to think about it.
Taehyung walks into the hallway to see Yoongi on his knees, one hand petting Yeontan's head. He had only managed to get rid of one shoe, too distracted with cuddling their youngest puppy.

"Hey", Taehyung says, leaning against the door frame.
His voice sounds weird, kinda hurt and tired, and he hopes that Yoongi won't notice.

The older looks up at that. His eyebrows are drawn together, eyes hooded with guilt.
"Hi."

He stands up and walks over towards Taehyung. The younger holds his hands out for Yoongi to take.

'There's no arguing as long as there's hand-holding.'
Taehyung needs that now. Not that he wants to argue with Yoongi but he's sad and somehow this evening played into all his insecurities and he's scared that he'll let it all out on Yoongi now if his hands aren't held.
"I'm so sorry how today went", Yoongi whispers, his thumbs softly brushing over Taehyung's knuckles. "I would have rather spend the evening with you Taetae than in this cold and stale subway car."

He smiles tiredly, eyes fond.
Taehyung knows him well enough to know that he had been beating himself up over this the entire way home.

"I had to run all the way from Rose Garden because the tram wouldn't come in under 30 minutes..."
"It's okay", Taehyung answers. Suddenly his anger and disappointment are all gone. What did he think? It was one evening that didn't go as planned. In years filled with happiness. He loves Yoongi, so much, and Yoongi loves him back even more.
He ran all the way. And now he looked like he was ready to fall asleep on the spot, yet he was worried about Taehyung.

He lets go of Yoongi's hands, reaching up to cup his face instead. His cheeks are cold and flushed red. That's right, it had been a particular
cold day for the end of September. Taehyung leans in and softly kisses Yoongi's forehead.

"It's not your fault hyung. We can still make the best of tonight, yah?"

Yoongi nods weakly. He leans in against Taehyung's chest.
The younger's arms come around him, holding him tight.

"Everything's good now", Yoongi sighs. "Have everything I need now."

Taehyung chuckles. Of course Yoongi has missed him just as much.
He rubs the older's back, wondering about the rough material. Right. Hadn't he been wearing a navy blue cashmere pullover this morning?

"What's with the hoodie?"

Yoongi groans. "That's Jin hyung's new merch... he made us wear matching ones for his video."
"Aah, I see. I guess he's gonna make us all wear them in the next few days, huh?"

Yoongi nods. "Probably."

His speech is getting more slured and Taehyung is afraid that he'll fall asleep in a second.
He shakes him slightly. "Hey, hyungie. How about we get you into the shower and then we'll cuddle up on the bed, watch a movie and eat Pizza, hm?"

Yoongi nods. "Yeah. I'd like that."
Twenty minutes later they're cuddled up, wrapped up in a ton of blankets, the dogs sleeping to their feet.

Yoongi is barely keeping his eyes open as he nibbles on his piece of pizza. He looks so cute and soft Taehyung feels like crying.
He brushes Yoongi's damp hair out of his face.

As long as it's like this, he thinks, as long as he can fall asleep with Yoongi in his arms, feeling so full with love, it won't matter how bad the day had been.
As long as he can fall asleep, knowing that Yoongi is with him, Taehyung will be fine.

"What are you doing, hyung? This is not the way back home", Taehyung asks as he's walking next to Yoongi, his hand holding the other's swinging between them.

Instead of turning right where the street would lead the back home, Yoongi kept waking straight.
"Don't be so nosy", Yoongi says with chuckle, pulling him along. "It's a surprise. You'll see." Taehyung is still vibrating with anticipation. Yoongi smiles to himself. It's so damn cute and endearing how Taehyung would get excited just like a child sometimes.
It took several more minutes until they reach the bus stop Yoongi had been heading for.

"We're taking the bus?"

"Hmm."

"Yoongiii", Taehyung whines. "What are we doing? What is this for?"

Yoongi just shrugs, earning a frustrated sigh.
Once they enter the right bus and sit down near the back, Yoongi pulls his phone out. Taehyung is staring out the window, watching the colours of the city light up one by one as the sun began to set.
173)
He puts the phone back as they reach the right stop and pulls Taehyung up on his feet.

They step out onto the cobblestone plastered square. It's almost dark now but the streetlamps are illuminating the space and the old building surrounding it.
Taehyung frowns, looking around.

"What are the doing here? Of all places?"

Yoongi opens his mouth to answer but Taehyung interrupts him. "A surprise yeah, I get it."
He sighs. "But hyuuung. Our old university? Really?"

Yoongi grins. They are really standing next to the gates of the university they attended until four years ago. The campus is a bit farer out of town which is why they had to take the bus to reach it.
"We're actually not even there yet."

Yoongi holds his hand out for Taehyung to hold again. Taehyung chews on his bottom lip and frowns but lets himself be pulled along nevertheless.
They walk for about fifteen minutes in silence. Still Yoongi can basically hear Taehyung's thoughts going. It isn't until they pass buy a tall rock with colourful paintings and signatures that Taehyung seems to have an inkling as to where this is going.
His eyes slide over to the rock. Somewhere inbetween these signatures there's a small 'KT+MY' in a red heart, a 'Hoseok' with both the o being a sun, a 'Kim Namjoon' with an intricate drawing beneath and a small 'Seokjin' covered with a drawn over 'Jimin' which in return,
was covered with a big 'Seokjin'.

He smiles at the memory. About how they all had written their names there before graduating, among thousands of other graduates.
"Yoongi", his voice is airy, soft. "What are we doing here?"

"You'll see, baby. Just a minute now."

Taehyung leaves the class room with a wide grin on his face. The first half of the day was over and he has had so much fun, spending time with photographing again.

As much as he loved the puppy center he had with his boyfriend, he missed this.
He was really glad that Yoongi had pushed him to apply for a slot in the class before they left for their Hawaii holiday.

The girl, Minji who had sat next to him was walking along the corridor with him was excitedly talking about how they'd be
getting lessons by famous, professional photographers the next week and Taehyung nodded along until they reached the cafeteria. There she bid him goodbye to spend lunch break with some friends of hers who attended the university their classes were held at.
It wasn't the one Taehyung had went to back in the day, this one was a lot bigger and less prestigious but also more modern than his. The cafeteria was bigger too, a bit overwhelming, Taehyung noticed as he looked around.
Now Taehyung wasn't that old but somehow the masses of students running around seemed incredibly young to him and for a second he felt incredibly out of place.

Then a hand tapped against his shoulder and a soft voice called out his name.
"Taehyung?"

He turned around and met eyes with non other than the cute guy from the Cafe.

"Kookie?"

His cute face split into a grin.
"What are you doing here?", he asks, excitedly. "Weren't you bragging about how you are a working adult and all? Why are you at my university then?"

"Oh." Taehyung shrugs, mimicking his happy smile. "I'm taking an elective work shop here."
"Aah that's so cool!" He sighs. "I'm just taking boring anatomy and bio chemics classes today."

Taehyung shakes his head. He's really looking so adorable with his messy hair and wide grin. The red hoodie and round glasses he's wearing both way to large for him.
Taehyung resists the urge to squish his cheeks.

"I don't know, Kook, I think that's sounds very interesting."

He shakes his head. "Only because you don't have to take them and listen to Professor Lan all day who is like 100 years old and speaks with the heaviest Chinese accent!
"Okay, I admit, that sounds kind of exhausting."

They just stare at each other and Taehyung finds himself again thinking about how absolutely adorable the younger looks. He really should ask him to come to the shop sometimes
he can only imagine how devastatingly cute he must look when playing with Holly or Yeontan or the other puppies. He also really wants to introduce him to Yoongi, the only person he can think of who could rival his cuteness.
Jungkook pulls him out of his thoughts.

"Say hyung..." He steps awkwardly from foot to foot. "You don't know anyone here, right? Ahem... would you maybe like to have lunch with me?
"I normally eat alone I thought maybe I don't have to and we could aah... eat together?"

He's blushing in the cutest way possible and Taehyung can't help but nod excitedly.

"Of course! I would love to!"

"Yoonie!", Taehyung yells through the apartment as he's slipping into a clean pair of jeans, Holly running around between his legs. There's no answer. Yoongi must still be in the shower then. He always takes way longer than he should and most of the time he'd come
too late to work if it wasn't for Taehyung pulling him along in the mornings.

He pulls on a soft, light blue cashmere sweater, one which was way more expensive than necessary but Yoongi loved how Taehyung looked in it so he made sure to wear it as often as possible.
He picks up Holly and walks out into the living room just as Yoongi exits the bathroom. His hair is still wet and sticking to his forehead.

"Tae? Why are you dressed already?" He turns to look at their kitchen clock, checking the time. It's only 7.20.
Normally they wouldn't leave for an hour.

Taehyung walks over, wrapping his arms around Yoongi's neck.

"I'm meeting up with the cute soup guy for coffee before the work shop."
"Oh?" Yoongi tilts his head. "How did that come about?"

Taehyung nods excitedly. "Yeah, I met him again yesterday. He apparently attends that uni." He frowns "Haven't I told you yesterday?"
Yoongi shakes his head with an amused grin. He leans up and presses a soft kiss to Taehyung's chin. "No, baby. You were busy kissing me all over 'because you missed me so much'."

He presses another kiss to Taehyung's bottom lip.
Taehyung hums. A small pleased sound as he captures Yoongi's lips completely. He pulls him closer by his waist.

"Tell me more about it when you come back tonight?", Yoongi mumbles between kisses.

Taehyung nods. "And you tell me about your afternoon with Namjoon's
adopted son?"

Yoongi snorts. "I will yeah." He entangles himself from Taehyung but can't resist to press a last kiss to his cheek. "Now go before you miss your bus!"

Jungkook was a stuttering mess when Yoongi arrived at the puppy center, trying to tell Felix what he wanted.
At the sound of the door, Jungkook turns around, a relieved look on his face.

"Hyung! You're finally here!"
He looks around Jungkook and rises his eyebrows at Felix. "What did you to him? Look at the poor guy."

Felix gasps. "Nothing?"

Jungkook just shakes his head, taking a step towards Yoongi

"No, he was nice. I'm just shy", he mumbles not meeting Yoongi's eyes.
Yoongi's lips tuck into a small smile. He's so adorable. Yoongi thinks about whether it's appropriate to hug him. Technically this is only the second time that they meet for longer than a few minutes but he feels like he already knows him really well.
He resists the urge and resigns to carrying the bag of hot food over to the counter.

"We can eat in the backroom", be decides. "Felix you got everything here?"

The younger man nods, taking the sandwich which Yoongi hands him. "Of course hyung, thank you for the food!"
Yoongi smiles at him and gives a short nod before turning back to Jungkook.

"You coming?"

"A..ah yes", he stutters and runs after Yoongi. He follows the older to the door which leads to the back.
The room they enter is big and light and opens up to a hallway and a wide garden behind glass doors. To the left there's a small table with four seats and a kitchen area.

"This is our break room basically and there to the right are the play rooms for the dogs.
We have four rooms, one big one which allows them to also go outside if the weather is nice, one for bathing and grooming, one for feeding and another smaller room which Tae calls the cuddle room because we usually use it if one of the pups needs extra, special care.
Jiwoo, our other employee is probably back there feeding the dogs right now. We can visit them after lunch and then we can take them to the garden and play." Yoongi puts down the food on the table and moves to the kitchencounter to get some plates.
"How many dogs are you taking care of?", Jungkook asks while he looks around the room. There isn't much to see apart from a small play castle which is surrounded by all kinds of toys. Jungkook guesses that it's the place Yoongi's own dogs like to play at.
"Today it's only 9 together with Tannie and Holly", Yoongi answers. "But all in all we have thirty clients with about forty dogs."

"Woah!"

Yoongi chuckles at his honest reaction.
"Yeah but I don't think there was ever a day that they all were here at the same time. Tae is really good at coordinating new clients in a way that we never have more than twenty dogs here at the same time."
"That sounds like a lot of stress", Jungkook comments as he sits down at the table.

"Yeah", Yoongi admits and he can basically feel thay dreamy look that he always gets when talking about Tae. "I don't know how he manages all of the organisational stuff. I'm useless with that."
