Taehyung slowly starts to open his eyes. He groans and tries to roll onto his side when he realized he’s not in the bed alone. His eyes shoot open and all sense of tiredness leave his body. He soon realizes that he’s not in his room. And, yep.

Someone has their arms outstretched across his stomach. He can’t make out their face as it’s buried into his neck.
Taehyung tried to recall the previous night. If he was drinking, this might’ve honestly been a very plausible situation.

But he most certainly not drinking because he was too focused on trying to finish his goddamn essay. He remembers finishing around 2am before knocking out, so really. Why was he in bed with a stranger?

First, he needed to get out of bed. But the stranger looked so comfortable using him to cuddle. ‘Ah fuck it’ he thinks and slowly tries to get the stranger off of him. He hears some groans but manages to successfully replace himself with a pillow.

He gets up and looks around. There’s a half open door and he sees that it’s a bathroom. He quietly enters and flicks on the lights.
His eyes adjust to the sudden bright light and he stares in the mirror. What the fuck....

He stares at the mirror, moves his limbs around and makes sure it’s an actual mirror, because what the fuck. That’s not him in the reflection.
He’s never seen that face in his life; okay maybe he looks familiar but, it’s definitely not the face he looks at in the mirror everyday

Also, wow he’s really attractive but in a completely different way that Taehyung is.
“Kookie?” the stranger calls out, his voice coarse from sleep. ‘Hmm he must be asking for a cookie in his dream..’ Taehyung thinks.

The situation really hits him all at once. WHAT IS HAPPENING?? He paces around the bathroom and takes heavy breaths. He keeps looking at the mirror, rubbing his eyes, and pinching himself, hoping that this was all a dream. Except he doesn’t wake up.

“Kookie, are you ok??” the stranger says a bit louder than last time. Taehyung just passes it off as more sleep talking. ‘Oh! Maybe I should look for a phone’ Taehyung thinks, hoping it will give him more answers.

He turns the light off and exits the bathroom and goes back toward the bed.
Except, the stranger is most definitely awake now. He’s still lying down but his eyes are open and Taehyung can clearly see his face.

‘What the hell, he’s so pretty’ is the first thing Taehyung thinks.
“Babe come back to bed” the stranger says as he outstretches him arms, looking as if he expects Taehyung to embrace him back on the bed.

But Taehyung doesn’t know who this is, so he doesn’t (no matter how pretty he may be).
So he just stands there awkwardly, before he spots a phone on the bedside table. He picks it up and, ah, of course, there’s a passcode.

“Kookie are you okay? It’s still 6am come back to bed” the stranger was now pouting. Pouting! It made Taehyung feel weak but he didn’t know what to do.
“I, uh..” Taehyung starts, but he doesn’t know what to say.

The stranger now looks very worried and sits up quickly. He crawls across the bed towards Taehyung and tugs his arms until Taehyung is seated on the bed. The stranger puts his hand on his forehead. “Tell me what’s wrong” the stranger continued to pout,

but now with a more worried look in his eyes.
‘Wow, he’s prettier up close’ Taehyung thinks. But quickly shakes his head.
Okay maybe this was just a wild and very realistic dream. Maybe if he went back to sleep everything would be back to normal.

So he says “nothing, I had a weird dream. let’s just go back to sleep” in a voice that definitely was not his. The stranger seemed hesitant but his groggy state seemed to take over. So they laid back down and the stranger let Taehyung be the big spoon.

A few minutes later, Taehyung hears the stranger lightly snoring. ‘Ok just go to sleep and everything will be back to normal’ he tired to convince himself. It took much longer for him to fall asleep, but soon he was drifting off..

Jungkook wakes up to a bright light shining through the blinds. Weird, he remembered having curtains, not blinds. Huh, even weirder, the bed feels empty. He slowly cracks his eyes open to see that he was, in fact, sleeping alone. ‘Where did hyung go?’ Jungkook thought.

He was about to go back to sleep, but his bladder urged him to go to the bathroom. In his morning haze, got up and headed for the bathroom. Except when he opened the door, he was met with a closet. With a bunch of clothes he doesn’t remember owning.

He starts awaking from his groggy state and he finally realizes that he’s not at his dorm.
‘WHAT THE HELL WHERE AM I , WHERES YOONGI HYUNG, WHY AM I HERE’ Jungkook starts freaking out.

He paces back and forth until he stubs his toe on the door. “Fuck!” he yells. Wait, that didn’t sound like him. He looks over to the floor where he spots a phone. He slowly reaches for it, recognizing it isn’t his. He opens the camera function and switches it to selfie mode.

He gasps and drops the phone on his foot. “Fuck” he says again, still not used to the sound coming from his mouth.
He slowly picks up the phone again and examines himself on the screen. ‘What the hell.....’

An attractive guy looks back at him on the screen. He sports greenish blue hair that not anyone could pull off. But, one thing was for sure; that wasn’t Jungkook on the screen.

As he was about to put the phone back down, it started to ring. Ah, he recognized the number that was calling to be his. He swiftly swiped to accept and frantically said, “Hello??”

“How’d you get into my phone?” was the first thing Jungkook asked. “Face ID..” the voice replied. ‘Ah no shit’ Jungkook shakes his head to himself. “More importantly, what the hell is going on?” the voice asked sounding panicked on the other line. “

“As if I know! Wait, where are you?” “I’m at the campus coffee shop,” the voice replied.
“You left Yoongi hyung by himself??” “What the hell did you expect me to do? I panicked!” “Fine, I’ll come to the coffee shop, just wait” Jungkook sighed. “Okay..”

Taehyung replied before hanging up. Wow it’s a weird feeling to have a conversation with your own voice.
Jungkook took advantage of knowing to unlock the phone with Face ID. He scoured through the phone for more information.

Jungkook enters the coffee shop and immediately spots himself. He walks over and sits across from his body. “What the fuck,” Jungkook says. “This is so weird.. Seeing myself,” he continues. He brings his hand up and starts touching the other’s face.

“Stop that!” Taehyung exclaims from Jungkook’s body, swatting the hand on his face.
“But it’s my face,” Jungkook says incredulously.
Taehyung rolls his eyes. “So..” he says.

“What.” Jungkook replies casually. “What are we gonna do!?” Taehyung asks in defeat. “I have projects to do and classes to attend, but here I am looking at my own body being possessed by some stranger,” Taehyung says sounding defeated.

Jungkook shrugs and says, “Well there’s not much we can do. I guess I’ll attend your classes and you attend mine and hope for the best.”
“You seem way too casual about this..” Taehyung says. It was so strange to be seeing his own face, his own body, across the table.

Jungkook starts, “It’s not like—“ but was interrupted by the sound of a notification. Jungkook’s phone (which Taehyung has) lights up with a text from “Yoongs 💕”.
“Oh my god! Yoongi hyung! Give me my phone!” Jungkook snatches the phone before Taehyung can even react.

“I’ll try to act really busy so your interactions with MY boyfriend are limited,” Jungkook says with a big emphasis on ‘my’. Taehyung just lets out a long sigh.

After a long discussion, they finally concluded that, there’s literally nothing they can do. So, there were to just live each others’ lives to the best of their abilities. They did decide to switch their phones so the owner could at least have their own phone.

“Let’s keep each other updated as much as possible. And let me know when I get new projects, ok?” Taehyung says. “Yeah yeah,” Jungkook replies, more worried about the Yoongi situation than the school situation.

He knows he has the prettiest boyfriend and he doesn’t trust this Taehyung character around him. He seems like a decent person but, they’ve only known each other for barely a few hours.
He’s gonna have to trust him, because he’s controlling Jungkook’s every move.

Sorry school has been rough :’(

It was finally time for them to have dinner. Jungkook was nervously waiting for Taehyung in front of the coffee shop. He just hoped the night would go smoothly, and that they would switch back into their bodies soon, so they can move on from this weird part of their lives.

He sees his body walking toward him and he waves him over.
“Ok are you ready?” Jungkook asks. “Uh, I guess? You don’t seem very ready though,” Taehyung comments, as he notices Jungkook is fidgeting. “Yeah I’m nervous.. what if he notices something is off??”

“Maybe you should just tell him the truth?” Taehyung suggests. Jungkook sighs and answers “Okay, if tonight goes to shit then we’ll come clean. But I have faith in us!! Let’s get this bread.” “Fine, let’s go,” Tae says. Jungkook grabs his wrist and walks toward Yoongi’s house.

After a short walk, they reach Yoongi’s door. Jungkook sighs and says, “Ok. It’s show time,” and Taehyung rolls his eyes. He knocks on the door, and not even 10 seconds later, the door flies open.

“Kookie!” he exclaims and kisses Taehyung’s cheek, of course thinking that’s his boyfriend.
Jungkook’s eye twitches. ‘Jungkook calm down’ he tells himself. Taehyung coughs and says “Hyung, this is Ju- Taehyung,” he corrects himself quickly.

“Nice to meet you Taehyung-ssi,” Yoongi extends his hand. “You too. You can just call me Tae,” Jungkook responds trying his best not to leap forward and kiss his boyfriend. “And you can call me hyung! Ok let’s go inside, it’s cold,” Yoongi pulls them both inside.

“Hey hyung, can I talk to you real quick?” Taehyung asks Yoongi. “Of course babe. Taehyung! You can wait at the table, I’m almost done with dinner~,” Yoongi responds. It takes Jungkook a second to realize he’s talking to him and walks toward the dining table.

Meanwhile, Tae and Yoongi go to the kitchen and Yoongi asks, “what’s up Kookie?” “My friend, Taehyung, he uhh isn’t super comfortable with PDA so we should tone it down for him,” “Oh of course! No problem, we can just have fun after,” and Yoongi winks.

Taehyung gulps, but continues, “Ha ha yeah hyung.. Also, he’s been having a lot of trouble because of school so be extra nice to him please,” “I’m always nice!” Yoongi pouts, and Taehyung has to admit, Yoongi is really cute; he looks especially cute and cat-like when he’s pouti—

wait.
Taehyung shakes his head of these thoughts and replies, “Of course hyung, just making sure ha ha.” “Ok lets go, he’s probably feeling lonely in there!” Yoongi replies and pats Taehyung’s butt on his way out. He gulps again. They walk back into the main room.

Dinner goes smoothly. They have normal conversation. Jungkook tries his best to pretend to know about art, using the past week of lectures as reference. Good thing Yoongi has no knowledge of the field, so it’s easy to get away with.

After they finish eating, Taehyung speaks up and says, “Ah I have to finish a project by tomorrow. So I should probably head out.” “Wow Kookie, so studious lately. I’m glad you’re working hard lately,”

and although it is true, Yoongi felt sad that he couldn’t spend more time with his boyfriend (or who he thinks is his bf).
“But don’t let me stop you two from hanging out!” “What?” Jungkook blurts out.

“I mean, J— Taehyung, as my really close friend, I would want you to be close to my boyfriend,” Taehyung says as he was trying to gage Jungkook’s reaction. “Oh, yeah? I guess,” Jungkook says as he tries to gage Yoongi’s reaction. “Oh, sure I don’t mind if you stay over longer.

We could watch a movie or something,” Yoongi shrugs.
“Yeah! Sounds fun, really wish I could stay,” Taehyung says. “Ok Kookie if you’re okay with it, I don’t see why not,” Yoongi says.

Jungkook doesn’t know whether to be grateful to Taehyung or not. He gets to spend time with his hyung, but he can’t do anything, like hold his hand or,, other things. He realizes it might be difficult for him to get through the night without acting on his instinct, but,

he hadn’t seen his boyfriend in a while. So, he’ll take what he can get.
“Okay so I’m gonna go then. No funny business guys, ha ha,” Taehyung says, meaning for it to be a joke. Jungkook looks at him with a weird look and Yoongi just rolls his eyes and says, “Very funny babe.”

Yoongi walks him to the door and kisses his cheek again. “Next time, when you have less homework, we should hang out just the two of us,” Yoongi says as he flutters his eyelashes. Taehyung cant tell if he’s trying to be extra flirty, but it does something to his heart.

He gulps for a third time that night and says, “Of course hyung,” and somewhere in his heart, he wants for that to happen. He doesn’t realize Yoongi’s grabbing onto his sleeve, until he really steps out to leave. Yoongi’s hands slip of his arm and waves him goodbye.

Finally an update >_< so sorry, I tried to make a longer update to make up for the time 🥺

“I like it, but it’s not perfect. I know I can make it better but I don’t know what it’s missing,” Yoongi says about the latest track he produced. “You’re probably just being hard on yourself. I can give it a listen if you want, not that I’d be much help but..” Hoseok replies.

“Would you? I think that’d be helpful,” Yoongi says with a smile and takes another sip of his coffee.
“Of course!” Hoseok replies. Yoongi looks up and sees a familiar face through the window.

“Oh, Jungkook! I’m gonna go say hi,” he tells Hoseok as he gets up and heads for the door.
He exits the cafe and starts waving toward his boyfriend, “Kookie!!!” Jungkook doesn’t look up. Confused, Yoongi tries again, “Kook!! Jeon Jungkook!!!!!”

Finally, Taehyung looks up, with a confused look on his face; that confusion turns to realization very soon.
“Oh, sorry hyung,, I was distracted .. by my thoughts, um ya,” Taehyung says not so confidently.

‘He doesn’t look very happy to see me..’ Yoongi thinks. “Are you heading to class?” “Yeah.. so what brings you here?” “I’m having coffee with Hobi,” Yoongi replies. “Ah ok, tell him I said hi. I should get going now?” Taehyung says. “Oh yeah, ok. I’ll text you.”

“Okay hyung, see ya,” Taehyung says and turns to leave.
In that moment, Yoongi grabs Taehyung’s wrist. Surprised, Taehyung turns around and looks into Yoongi’s eyes. He can tell Yoongi looks sad.

“Hey Kookie, are we okay?” “Huh? uh, yes hyung, why?” Taehyung says not knowing what to say. “You’ve been kind of distant. Is it something I did, or?” Yoongi says with a wavering tone. ‘Oh no, please don’t cry,’ Taehyung thinks.

“Ah I’m sorry hyung I’ve been so stressed because of school. It’s really not you. I’ll be back to normal soon don’t worry,” Taehyung says with a reassuring smile.
Yoongi looks relieved but lets out a single tear anyway. “Okay,” he whispers.

Before Taehyung knows it, he engulfs Yoongi into a hug. It makes him feel warm.
“Sorry I’m being clingy, I know that school is stressful. I’m glad we’re okay :)” Yoongi says. “No, I’m sorry, I’ll be better I promise,” Taehyung replies.

“Okay, I’ll let you get going now,” Yoongi sniffles. “Don’t be sad please,” Taehyung says. Yoongi giggles and then pecks Taehyung’s lips quickly. “I’m not! Bye Kookie~” Yoongi says and goes back into the cafe with a blush. Taehyung stays in place for a good 10 seconds in shock.

He blushes and then shakes his head and runs to class.
‘Fuck,’ he thinks to himself.

Jungkook was nervous. Naturally so. He was sitting at the table drinking the last few drops of his hot chocolate. He couldn’t stop shaking his leg. He just found out Taehyung was falling in love with his boyfriend.

He’s waiting for Taehyung in the cafe they always meet at so that they can tell Yoongi about this whole ordeal together.

He hears the chime of the door and Jungkook looks up to see himself. It’s weird he’s starting to get used to seeing himself like that. “Hey,” Taehyung says nervously as he walks up to Jungkook.

“You dyed my hair back,” Jungkook notices. “Yeah, I think you look best with natural hair,” Taehyung says. “Hm, I think you do too,” Jungkook comments.

Taehyung clears his throat, “So how are we gonna do this?” “We just tell hyung the truth. And then we respect whatever decision he makes,” Jungkook responds. “Are you not mad at me?” Taehyung asks confused. “I am, but that doesn’t help our situation.

I’m at fault too,” Jungkook says honestly.
Taehyung’s surprised, and he nods to Jungkook, “Okay then, let’s go?” The two head out of the cafe, everyone’s heads turning as they leave. The two did make quite the image when together.

They both walk to Yoongi’s apartment together in silence. Once they arrive, Jungkook’s knocks on the door. “Coming~” they hear a voice from behind the door. Moments later, Yoongi opens the door. “Oh! How’d I get so lucky for two handsome men to visit me like this?”

Taehyung says, “Hey hyung can we come in?” “Of course!” Yoongi replies brightly with a big smile. ‘Fuck,’ Jungkook thinks.
“So what brings you both here?” Yoongi asks once when settled on the couch. “We have something to tell you..” Jungkook starts.

“What is it Tae?” Yoongi asks curiously. “This is going to sound super crazy, but hear us out,” Taehyung says. Now, Yoongi’s starting to feel nervous, “You guys are scaring me, just tell me.”

Jungkook sees Taehyung already leaning against the wall of the coffee shop. Jungkook sees Taehyung, not himself.
“Tae,” Jungkook says with a smile on his face. Taehyung’s head snaps up, and he returns the smile. “We back baby!!” He gets up and hugs Jungkook.

Taehyung was happy, of course he was. He could live his life back to normal, like he used to. But a part of him was sad; heartbroken. Will everything really go back to the way it was?
Jungkook noticed Taehyung’s expression changing.

“Hey what’s wrong? We’re back! Isn’t this what we wanted?”
Jungkook asked. “Yeah, of course. It’s just weird I guess, ha ha” Taehyung awkwardly laughs.
“Cmon lets go tell Yoongi hyung!” Jungkook says.

“No, you can probably just tell him yourself,” Tae replies, scratching the back of his head sheepishly. “Are you serious? Come on, let’s gooooo,” Jungkook grabs Tae’s hand and yanks him towards the street. “Wait!” Taehyung exclaims.

Startled, Jungkook stops his movement and the grip in his hand weakens. “Let’s just switch our phones and you can go tell hyung.” Jungkook gets out Tae’s phone and hands it back to him. As he retrieves his phone he asks, “Are you scared of his reaction?

I mean, yes we confused him with nonsense but he’ll he happy for us! He’ll still love us, I promise.”
‘Us?’ Taehyung thinks. “Yes I said us :)” Jungkook said as if he read Tae’s mind. He kisses Tae on the cheek to reassure him. “Ready now?”

Taehyung, still surprised, nods and allows himself to be pulled by Jungkook.
