If you're giving a demo in a terminal, use a light background, dark text. The way projectors work often doesn't throw enough light for a dark theme to be visible.

Listen, my fellow Lefties, there's something you ought to be aware of: a lot of you really are absolutely as irritating and unsufferable as the Right says you are.
A lot of you are like 19 and you just discovered All The Things and like all 19 year olds you are convinced you invented All The Things and you now have to screech about them constantly. Unlike 19 year olds in the past, you actually have a means to do it.
A lot of you are smug and self-righteous and absolutely immune to nuance of any kind and you talk in declarative statements like "We need to talk about [X]" when you mean that you want to talk about X and the rest of us should merely shut up and listen.

You say "ugh" too much.
