.@amazon So this is what's going on. On 1/14/2020, I tried to access my @amazon acct which I use too much. There was a strange email address in log-in space, so I erased it & inputted my own. Tried to input my password & @amazon wouldn't accept it. Had to change my password 1/

@amazon Logged onto @amazon acct supposedly my own. Went to Browsing history & saw all items for about 30 seconds. Clicked 1 item & everything disappeared. Went to orders, there were none although I had ordered plenty for a long time. Called @amazon to find out what's going on 2/

@amazon The very nice lady at @amazon told me ultimately that someone had hacked my acct (after I told her about the strange email address in my log-in). She then contacted another "leadership team", which gave her instructions re: what I had to do so they could rectify the problem. 3/

@amazon First, I had to change my @amazon email address to another email for logging into the account. She told me once that was done, this would enable @amazon to isolate my original email which was hacked, restore all information in my account & transfer the data to the "new" email. 4/

@amazon .@amazon customer service told me it would take @amazon 48 hrs to rectify this situation & restore all information to my account. This includes: credit card info, @amazon Prime, all my past orders, return & refund info. She said I would receive an email to my original email 5/

@amazon advising me that my @amazon acct was restored and the steps to take to ensure it was reinstated properly. Needless to say, I have not received any such email, 48 hours have long passed & my @amazon acct is not restored. 6/

@amazon When logging into new "ghost" account on @amazon a few minutes ago, nothing is there. It's as if I have never purchased anything, no Order info, no refund info, no credit card info, nothing. I just called @amazon again. Customer service said they have no info about anything 7/

@amazon There are no notes on account, not on original email nor newly created email for log-in purposes. The member of "leadership team" w/whom I spoke appeared to be clearly disinterested in whole affair & advised me the only thing she could do is send a note to acct technicians 8/

@amazon .@amazon Though the original customer service person on 1/14 advised me she was speaking with leadership & these were needed steps to restore my hacked acct, today's customer supervisor told me all my info/data disappeared once email address was changed & can't be restored. 9/

@amazon .@amyazon I want to know what you are going to do about this. I have emails from @amazon confirming changes in email addresses & passwords & requesting feedback from original customer service agent on 1/14 to verify what I said above. 10/

@amazon @Amyazon .@amazon I think it's inappropriate customers are treated this way but you still want customers WORLDWIDE to purchase from your site so you can make BILLIONS from these purchases. I think customers should be treated better. 11/END
