1/8 I think I was wrong about @Ripple not gearing up for an IPO. I don't think I fully fathomed what they were setting out to accomplish & hearing BIS's Coeure and others literally speak of XRP and ODL without saying it, says all I need to know.

3/8 My belief is that the clarity is there, it's in place, but it's behind closed doors, out of the public's view, just like Ripple's true growth, their projected expansion and of course the 'plans within plans'. #BG123

4/8 I suspect they are working something out with SWIFT, a deal of some sorts. As we know, SWIFT isn't a company and they can't be bought out persay.
They are a combined representation of various Banks that have partnered together to allow for a mass-connected messaging system.

5/8 So,this is why a merger or acquisition of SWIFT seems all the more logical. Ripple have increased their 'war chest' via ABC rounds of equity funding & once they launch an IPO, they'll have enough power & credibility to continue their expansion on much larger global platforms.
6/8 Ripple would also no longer need to try and secure one Bank contract at a time, spending efforts to train/educate, test and implement systems all on a 1:1 basis. It makes no sense and it's not efficient at all.
7/8 Instead by utilizing SWIFTs massive network of Banks to move Trillions of $$$ per year, this would accomplish a few things,it would make the transition much more comfortable & efficient for the entire Banking Industry, the deployment of Ripple Tech would be much more seamless
8/8 and it would once again provide Ripple 'legs to stand on' for why investors would want a stake in their company through series funding and through an IPO.
