I am not shocked that political appointees in Trump's EPA would cover up career EPA experts' concerns about a dangerous sulfide mine. That's business as usual under Trump. I am shocked that Minnesota state regulators would not only go along with this cover up but encourage it.
The objective of Trump's EPA: To keep comments of career EPA scientists about a dangerous sulfide mine out of the public record so Glencore could get permits for its PolyMet sulfide mine.

Thus far Minnesota's Governor @Tim_Walz and our two senators @amyklobuchar and @TinaSmithMN (all three are on the side of Glencore-PolyMet) have not said a word about this scandal.
