Let's begin then with the biggest Bogeys of the bunch, the critters created for Cthulhu Wars; can't start that though without giving a major nod first of all to Richard Luong, who did the excellent design-work for all the monstery madness... artstation.com/tentaclesandte…
- he was good enough to give @FenrisGames and meself a mention in amongst all the gribbly bits, and even afforded me a starring spot on the page, showing off the state of my desk and doings at the time:
...meanwhile though, here we go; the titular terror first up - at start and end of sculpting, and as brilliantly brushed up by @DuffPaint:
Bokrug, differently done by Iron Tusk facebook.com/irontuskminiat… and @northleedspaul. For some reason twitter is telling me I can't tag @FenrisGames in photos so I'll just have to remind you all every now and then that these beasties are all stabled there...
my Mi-go from Richard's design, handled here by Ben Waxman facebook.com/ben.waxman, someone called Igroolz who I've not found further details of, and by somebody else I've found no details of whatsoever; any help much appreciated for where to give credit!
Here's Hastur, a bit of a hack-job by meself where another sculptor's interpretation wasn't quite what was wanted; paints by @pauljima @FoxholeDesign and diceplague: diceplague.blogspot.com
Starspawn - a cast by @FenrisGames from my sculpt, and paints by @DuffPaint and Chase Norton flickr.com/people/1508637…
The Abomination; brushworks by that there Igroolz again, and another by @DuffPaint
Hunting Horror sculpt; paints by Chase Norton flickr.com/people/1508637… again, another by @johnny_crass, and the last one I'm not sure of:
deep one - more from Igroolz and Chase Norton (including a slightly modified one by Chase), and another by someone whose name I can't find, though @FenrisGames might know?
Deep ones as it happens are a good place to step away from Cthulhu Wars now and get into the @FenrisGames catalogue of my other stuff, which more or less began with my *own* take on such fishfolk; gloriously glorified here by @DuffPaint again...
@DuffPaint being likewise to credit for these bigger beasties of mine:
- and indeed for the colours on this Cod Almighty, Dagon, also from @FenrisGames
a cluster of codfolk here too, by Alaric Cantonain alariccantonain.canalblog.com
enough fish for the mo, though, have some goatkin; here's Bambi and Thumper, George and Mildred, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Bob and Vic, Bert and Ernie, Pinky and Perky; paints by @DuffPaint, he's been busy 'round them @FenrisGames parts...
- coupla close-ups of some o' them, just 'cos.
warmasterdk.blogspot.com Warmsterdk with a bit of a different take on some of the same sorts:
One of the first among the Wyrdworld sculpts, Rogerick the Rhino; paints by 'Elysium64' @DuffPaint and by... somebody else :/
tiny T-Rex - as yet untouched by paint; likewise for this triptych of 'topsian types:
in dino-style still, a stegosaur-sort; another pair by @DuffPaint and one from Matt Lucas
how 'bout some zombies? Coupla tanks here, one painted by...me! and the other featured on a card from a game by @Mcfonz found on the @RanPlatForum
oops, and another one from @DuffPaint
...well, I reckon I'm about half half way through this lot, and probably boring everybody to bits by now, so I'm gonna finish for the time being with one more, and then add to the thread at a later date and time, or times - so for the moment at least, here's the last of me going>
on about my @FenrisGames sculpts: this is Angus the Minotaur; dunno who the first paintup belongs to, but the Ray-the-Cyclops alt-head versions thereafter are by @Goblins_Mordor and Kev Dallimore werelords.com/pages/Kevins_p… - (human sculpt by David Soderquist) bronzeagemin.com
