The only relevant question is whether President Trump had a legitimate reason to investigate Burisma/Bidens' corruption. If yes, nothing else in this whole sham impeachment saga matters.

It still doesn't matter. It only matters if the attempt to withhold aid was ONLY for personal gain and served NO national purpose. That is entirely unproven, unless mind-reading is permitted as evidence.

3. Oh, C'mon! If Trump Cared About Corruption, Why Didn't He Make the Call in 2017 or 2018?

Make the call to whom? Countries don't have phone numbers, people do. In 2017/2018, Ukraine had a corrupt regime in power. Only the new Ukrainian president made it worthwhile to ask.

4. Still, Why Didn't Trump Say Something About Biden's Corruption Publicly Before 2019?

Because Biden was inconsequential before 2019. Presidents don't spend their time, at least not the good ones, on inconsequential matters.

5. Only when Biden announced his run for president in 2019 did it become a critical matter, both for President Trump and for the nation, to know whether Biden was compromised.

6. Aha! So You're Saying Trump Did it Because He Would Benefit Politically

No! I am saying it is possible he did it for both personal and national purposes. Everything a president does can have a personal political gain angle. After all, we don't elect masochists as presidents.

7. Our entire political system is designed to marry politicians' personal political interest with the public interest. As long as the two are aligned, it's all kosher. Only when a president tries to benefit personally by harming the nation does it become malfeasance.

8. Democrats have failed completely and miserably to prove that an investigation into potential corruption of Bidens, for which prima facie evidence exists in spades, will harm the nation and somehow ONLY benefit Trump, as if the American voters are complete idiots.

9. If Bidens are innocent, I submit that Trump conducting an investigation into their potential corruption will do great harm to his personal and political credibility and judgment, and thereby possibly lose him the next election. It's not like MSM will let him get away with it.

10. Democrats are dressing up their complete lack of faith in the judgment and sense of fairness of the American people in pseudo-high principle through misdirection, by flinging focus-group tested inflammatory accusations, without providing any evidence other than mind-reading.

11. And by doing so, if there is anyone who is maliciously 'interfering in the upcoming election', it's the Democratic leaders who for the first time in our history have impeached a sitting president without an underlying crime adjudicated by the courts.

12. Shame on the Democrats for trampling on one of the most serious provisions in our Constitution that relies solely on the most meticulous exercise of the highest level of judgment by members of Congress.

13. Trump will leave the White House in at most five years. The harm done by the Democrats to our constitutional republic by setting a precedent to usurp the impeachment process for parochial political purposes will last for a very long time, if we fully recover at all.
