I get the appeal. I get that he advocates for policies in the interest of the exact voter we're talking about.
But Republicans (& conservative Independents) have been voting against their economic interests for 50 years. Betting that will change with Bernie is a BIG ASSUMPTION.

One more thing, every Bernie supporter I know personally is very smart and well intentioned. I grew up close to this movement.
