B) Those 8 issues where there is increased US satisfaction:

1. economy from 46 % in jan 2017 to 68% today (+22)
2. security from terrorism 50 to 68 (+18)
3. military strength 66to 81 (+15)
4. state of race relations 22 to 36 (+14)
5. reducing crime 38 to 47(+9) ...

C) ...

6. position of blacks and other racial minorities
from 37% to 46% (+9)
7. distribution of income and wealth
from 35 to 43 (+8)
8. opportunity for a person to get ahead through hard work 66 to 72 (+6)

D) Gallup: "Americans' average satisfaction rating for the 27 issues Gallup has tracked consistently since 2001 is now 47%. This is up three points from a year ago and is the highest since the January 2005 poll."

BUT...

E) "Americans' overall satisfaction with the country's direction is at its highest point since 2005. However, the 41% satisfied with the country today leaves 58% dissatisfied, and the detailed satisfaction measures reported here help reveal the source of that discontent."

AND...

F) Gallup Jan 6-19 poll found that 51% of the public wanted the president removed from office.
