I’m at #NASED - a mtg of election administrators- where officials are grilling @EACgov commissioners about why a doc on procedures around requirements for voting machines hasn’t been approved in *years.* one reason offered by commissioners: grammatical errors. It’s 5 pages long.

Folks have been talking about these requirements since I’ve been on this beat 4 years ago. @EACgov has been sitting on this, and today the commissioners are blaming everyone but themselves for why it’s gone nowhere. These requirements are crucial for building better machines.

I cannot stress to you enough how angry election officials are over this crucial document being held up while the country is raging about the quality of voting machines. No one here is thrilled to have the EAC commissioners blame everyone else and also maybe commas.

Anyway I’m leaving to have my tooth glued back on but it’s safe to say that didn’t go well

ya girl has half a tooth and is gonna just make the best of it until she can see a real cosmetic dentist on Monday.

For what its worth I think I'm really pulling this look off.
