#MattMasterson saying table top exercises from @CISAgov are helping states prepare if there is interference, & that @CISAgov can respond if states detect interference. States must be capable of running #elections completely manually if necessary - including paper backups of #VRDB

@CISAgov That's why #HandMarkedPaperBallots are a more secure choice than ballot-marking-devices and touchscreen voting machines that could be shutdown if a jurisdiction loses power.

@CISAgov Both the #Dems & the #Reps are using this #ElectionSecurity hearing to snipe at each other, dredging up issues about #PeterStrzok & #impeachment. Securing #Election2020 is an issue that all parties need to be focused on in as nonpartisan a way as possible

We haven't been asked to "2nd guess" the state's accuracy. An investigation is NOT 2nd guessing. Responsible to look for evidence.
