Okay, question of the day...what was the weirdest experience you have had on/because of Twitter?

I have a lot, but here is my favorite time #TwitterGotWeird.

I write comics, and Gene Simmons has contacted me to write some KISS comics. Only problem, I don’t care for KISS. So I made some very tame jokes about it. All in fun.

A follower who was a huge KISS fan got angry...

She started rage tweeting at me, a lot of personal insults...she claimed to know the guys in Kiss like they were best buddies. She also claimed to be a famous actress (she was an extra in some stuff).

But best of all, she claimed to be a vampire.

Not only a vampire, but a leader of a huge group of vampires, and when she told them of my evil KISS mockery, they would all become enraged and attack me.

I am dying laughing, but there’s a twist.

She really was claiming to be a vampire, and had 20000 vampire followers.

I will say it again. 20000 vampire followers.

AND she called. my bosses at DC and Warner’s to try to get me fired.

So I had to explain through tears of laughter that Lady Dracula objected to me saying LOVE GUN was actually about a wang to corporate lawyers.

But the ultimate joy in this story is, the angry hoard of vampires who she said would be coming after me?

They were super nice, a bunch were big fans, and they apologized profusely for her embarrassing behavior.

I still wonder, ‘wtf, world?’

Also,every time I tell his story in real life, I can see people don’t believe me. Fortunately, I had about 100000 witnesses here. :)

I realize I worded something wrong in this story that makes it weirder.

The claim that she had 20000 vampire followers?

Was absolutely true. She had a newsletter and everything. 20000 followers.
