Limitation: because I said almost exact same thing more than a year earlier, in @ObserverUK on BBC & here on Twitter. Why didn’t he take action then? Truth: because it’s true. Public interest: because journalists must be able to report on subjects as serious as this or we’re lost
It’s also potentially important test case for journalists. Part of our job - & news orgs expect - is to go into world & talk about our stories. But this shows not safe & risk is on you. No-one thinks they’ll be sued for what they said in print & on air more than a year earlier

The point is we voted Vote Leave into power knowing they’d broken law, lied & refused to answer qs on their conduct. And now the fate of our nation rests on trusting that they are making critical decisions in accountable & transparent ways based on best possible info. You?
Can you ‘cheat’ Coronavirus? Is that the strategy? Can it be rigged? Like, say, an election? Should we be reassured that Vote Leave data bros are back in town? Or would we be better served knowing - & trusting - govt will heed & follow best advice of our best public servants?

NEW: a petition asking for a public inquiry into EUref has been approved for debate in parliament. What this usually means is 2 MPs talking to themselves in Westminster hall. But think of the possibilities! Cummings, Johnson, Gove, Banks...which MPs will ask the big questions???
Debates decided by petition are meant to be refreshing blast of direct democracy. In reality, they’re shoved into backroom of Parliament & ignored. However, they are televised, put on Hansard record, PRIVILEGED & ministers have to respond..

That’s ministers who were directly involved in Vote Leave’s senior leadership. Which is half the cabinet. And, you know, the prime minister. To remind you: they’re still under investigation by the police.

STM Fidecs Ltd was the first to register Leave.EU as a wholly owned subsidiary. Its ownership then passed to Banks.

🔑Banks was previously a “substantial” shareholder in the firm’s parent company.

📌And the Panama Papers give further details of Banks’s offshore interests. He is listed as a shareholder of PRI Holdings, together with two other people.

Interesting.. a British tanker in the Persian Gulf has come to a complete stop. Would expect it to start heading south but as of now it's completely stopped.

Boat is the PACIFIC VOYAGER, image of the ship and it's location compared to Iran seen below.
Don't panic or anything, I'm going to monitor this until it makes another movement.
#UPDATE: Boat still stopped, it's status is officially stopped instead of underway using engine. It's at 0.5 knts as of now.

If you watched the InsiderVideo release by ProjectVeritas earlier today you'll know that "Live Action", a pro-life group, was labeled as 'porn' on the Pinterest platform so searches would be flagged & not found.

3/ Since airing the video, Pinterest, instead of doing the RIGHT thing which would be to correct the issue & remove the label 'porn' so it could again be searchable, the platform decided to double down & Permanently BAN Live Action altogether.
