[THREAD] On weapons captured by Tavhid Ja Jihod a couple of days ago in #Khalsa #Aleppo, likely from Iranian militias, which have suffered high casualties.

Quantites of small arms including T56, AKM-pattern rifles, & PKM-pattern MG. Customisation is typical of Shia militias.
1/
3x RPG launchers including a DIO-produced model from Iran, a Chinese Type 69, and another RPG-7 pattern launcher- possibly Russian or Bulgarian
2/
Here's where things get interesting- multiple Iranian produced RPG warheads, including PG-7-AT "Nader", PG-7-AT-1 "Fath",plus PG-7VL & PG-7VM rounds from Russia. This isn't a huge capture but is a good indication of how regime forces (In particular Iranian-aligned) are armed.

3/
In a manner reminiscent of IS captures of old, one box of PG-7-AT-1 were captured untouched. Despite only looking like a tan PG-7V, some reports indicate that these rounds have superior penetration compared to the PG-7VM (300mm RHE) so are very useful against SyAA armour.

4/
It seems that whoever used to own this materiel, fled pretty quickly. Note the "slab side" magazine in the 2nd image, which are very old and rather rarely seen, being replaced with the conventional ribbed design (See the other mags)

5/
My best estimation:

5x AK-type rifles
2x PKM-pattern MGs
4+ PG-7-AT "Nader" (Produced in the early 2000s)
8+ PG-7-AT-1 "Fath"
2x PG-7VM
1x PG-7VL
1-3 Unidentified (Saegheh, PG-7V or PG-7-AT-1)
RPG boosters, ammo

Definitely a reasonable haul if from a small HTS squad.

6/
More interestingly though, Iranian Rayan Roshd RU-60G and RU-120G thermal optics amongst various comms equipment. These are inferior to the standard thermal optics used by HTS and others, but are certainly of use.

However, speaking of thermals...

7/
If you look to the left of this capture, you can see an Idlibi-produced custom Mosin-Nagant, complete with Pulsar thermal optic (Likely XD75) and suppressors.

This rifle seems to have been captured (& pressed into use) by regime forces, before it's recapture!

8/
Judging from the pictures of the dead (Which I won't post) it seems that the regime position was rapidly overrun. The weapons mix is pretty typical of Iranian-backed militias, with SyAA forces (Such as the "Tigers") carrying greater quantites of Russian Kit and AK-74.

9/
And that's about it.
