Four days in a row I have managed to do *something* on Ring Fit Adventure, despite having a very diminished constitution from illness.

I really like a Nintendo exercise game that lets you skip past anything having to do with weight. (It does ask, once, but you can say no.)
Also after several days in a row of always answering "It's fine, keep it the way it is." when asked if I wanted to change the intensity of the exercise, it asked me if it was getting annoying and then promised to ask less often when I said "Yeah, a little bit."
During my worst days this week I just did the first level over again (which lets you grind for XP that makes subsequent fights easier) or played one of the minigames.
It's not perfect and I don't think it's got any kind of great accessibility options for people with different limb/mobility ranges but it's a step up from Wii Fit.
Also, the first time you complete a session it prompts you to set an alarm for your next one, but if you're not into exercising when a thing goes bing at you, you can cancel without setting it. Can't just say "no" outright but don't have to finish setting it.
It can be hard to keep up with the onscreen figure during the warm-up and cooldown stretches but it's not motion tracking or grading you during those and the on-screen tips remind you it's better to stay within your range.

(Still would appreciate a speed control for those.)
But even just doing it six times over two weeks, I feel like my stretching range has already noticeably improved? Might just be more confident in listening to my body's actual current limits.
