One of the things I really love about Bojack Horseman is that as Todd gets more mature and starts to realize how bad Bojack is to be around and asserts boundaries and advocates for himself and pushes for more responsibility at work... he's still Todd. Still Wacky B-Plot Guy.
I haven't been able to bring myself to watch El Camino because I really don't want to see what happens next for Jesse Pinkman after he drives away from the compound if it's not time, distance, comfort, and healing.

I'm sure it's good. But I don't need his journey to be longer.
And maybe it's just that it's the same actor playing the characters and they both are (at least at first) largely defined by a toxic relationship with a narcissistic older man but in the final season of Bojack I kept feeling like it was healing/closure for Jesse.
