Yang, re: the courts: "Our side has become a little bit complacent… The other side took a much more deliberate approach than the Democrats did."

Interesting exchange with Stephanie Ruhle about why Steyer's big $ is any different from Koch big $: "They want things for themselves.... They will not tell you what they do…. I’m transparent. You can never show a single instance of me doing something that benefits me."
Steyer is really getting the crowd fired up.

Sanders says he's frequently asked if has a litmus test on judges. "Yeah, I do. I will l never nominate anybody to the Supreme Court or any federal court who is not 100 percent" behind Roe v. Wade.
"We can learn some lessons from what the right-wing is doing in this country," Sanders says, raising the Federalist Society and its role in nurturing/elevating conservative lawyers.
"I will not just be the commander-In-chief of the military. I will be the organizer in chief for the progressive movement in this country.”
Asked if there's room in the Democratic tent for pro-life Ds, Sanders says: "I think being pro-choice is an absolutely essential part of being a Democrat.... By this time in history, when we talk about what a Democrat is, I think being pro-choice is an essential part of that."
Sen. Michael Bennet
Bennet, with dig at Sanders ("I love the guy myself"): "It’s possible you can win a Democratic primary promising a lot of free stuff" you can’t deliver. Not possible to win a general, he adds.
Why have Republicans succeeded on remaking judiciary where Democrats have failed? "Because they paid attention and Democrats didn’t. Democrats left open seats. Democrats delayed. Democrats did not make it a priority."
