Indictment @FBI against PLA contains good cyber forensic work. Some interesting notes, time breach to detection/removal seems be +/- 45 days, took 2+ years for this indictment, imagine how many attacks conducted by these 4 & 10000s of hacker in meantime justice.gov/opa/press-rele…
@FBI wondering if FBI did this all internally and/or to what extent relied on outside companies to build evidence. Obviously intelligence agencies collaborated, but so much capacity/capability now resides outside USG.
@FBI China big data hacks = smart. Data is fuel for AI, get all you can, in time, gains will reveal themselves. Western democracies will worry privacy & Silicon valley big tech, penalize themselves, China has all their internal data & a copy of the West's as well - they win.
