Honestly, what is it with windshield wipers? My vehicle has thrown 2 blades so far this winter. And why are they so complicated to put on? The blade comes with a bunch of incomprehensible pictures and weird bits of plastic. 1/5 #FirstWorldProblems

There are at least 4 kinds of wiper arm! And mine doesn't look like anything in the photos. Could we not just decide on one and have wiper blades that attach in some sort of intuitive way? #SoFedUp 3/5
It occurred to me that not putting the last one on correctly is why it went flying (although it worked fine for over a month), so I wanted to ask someone at Canadian Tire to put it on for me. At least I would have someone else to blame if it does it again... 4/5
But I could not get the eye of any staff in the automotive section. There used to be neighbourhood gas stations that had gas pumps and a garage where they did automotive repairs. I would have gone to one of those if they existed anymore. Grumble, grumble... 5/5
I want to add, I have changed wiper blades before on other vehicles. I change tires. I have changed the oil but I really hate doing it. I'm not completely mechanically incompetent. But this vehicle's wiper arms are deeply frustrating! 6/5
