and one day, when it doesn't go your way, the money dries up & you can't ask your team to work without pay. You step to the cameras, thank your supporters, and walk away with the satisfaction that you did what your critics didn't have the guts to do...
You put your name on the ballot, you went into the arena and took the hits, and while the results aren't what you hoped, you live with the satisfaction that you left it all on the field. And the media talkers who have NEVER gotten closer to the game other than to watch...
will keep pretending to be experts, but you know what they will NEVER know. So though I'm not a Dem & wouldn't vote for any of them, I give the candidates who are being faced with reality of getting out of the race my heartfelt respect-you had the courage to run. #respect
