If Trump and Barr succeed at their obvious objective of fully and completely demolishing the rule of law before November will the election even matter?
Let’s assume Trump loses the Electoral College. Now imagine what Trump and Barr will do between November 2020 and January 2021. Now imagine a coronavirus pandemic in the US anytime between now and inauguration 2021.
The media horserace is for selling ads. It has no bearing on our actual futures. It has no ability to confront what actually lies before us. Watch cable news if you have moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. Otherwise, it’s not being made for you.

Anyone else suspect Bloomberg has an illicit troll factory working for him? Every time I post an anti-Bb tweet I get a rando anon account with a troll reply. There’s absolutely nothing stopping the campaign from doing this and there’s obviously truckloads of cash to burn on it.
A truly grotesque expenditure. A few thousand dollars as I composed this tweet. We’ll never recover from this plutocracy-at-all-costs, our so-called democracy-for-sale garbage fire. Would a machiavellian like Bb *not* hire trolls to shitpost our tweets?

Where is the reporting on Hawkfish, Bloomberg’s Cambridge Analytica!?
And if there isn’t any ongoing and substantive reporting on Hawkfish because it remains ultra-secretive what does that say about the voter surveillance operation that undergirds the Bloomberg campaign for plutocracy?
ICYMI - the only reporter I know of who has been covering Hawkfish, quite possibly the most consequential political technology and voter profiling shop that you’ve never heard of.

So I'm listening to an aggravating @lawfarepodcast in their "Rule of Law" series with a highly partisan "expert". For example, he claims that because of "Electoral College", only 6 states are at play in 2020, and that politicians never visit California because its vote is certain
2/ But that's not the fault of the "Electoral College", but the fault of the states who have decided their votes should be "winner take all", that all their electoral college votes go to one candidate or the other.
3/ If California wants candidates to visit the state, or if any state wants to be "in play" for a presidential election, then their legislatures can easily pass a law making it so. It's entirely within their power without changing the constitution.
