So I'm listening to an aggravating @lawfarepodcast in their "Rule of Law" series with a highly partisan "expert". For example, he claims that because of "Electoral College", only 6 states are at play in 2020, and that politicians never visit California because its vote is certain
2/ But that's not the fault of the "Electoral College", but the fault of the states who have decided their votes should be "winner take all", that all their electoral college votes go to one candidate or the other.
3/ If California wants candidates to visit the state, or if any state wants to be "in play" for a presidential election, then their legislatures can easily pass a law making it so. It's entirely within their power without changing the constitution.

So there's three answers:
1. bandwidth
2. compression algorithm
3. color range
The first problem is color range. We use only 8-bits or 256 levels for each of red, green, and blue colors. This is enough when colors are far from each other, like bright white on top of black, but not enough when they are close, black on slightly darker black.
In the future, HDR TVs with 10 bit color will improve upon this, but in the meanwhile, we are at a level of poor color resolution where problems will show themselves.

In case you were curious what’s inside a smart IoT lightbulb
The PCB is essentially a power supply, with the WiFi module plugged into it (FCC ID TE7LBM100). The antenna portion sticking out will stick up through that rectangular whole in the LED portion, along with the power wires.
This smart bulb is one that allows shades of white (different color temperatures), so it mixes two types of LEDs, and has two power wires (plus ground) controlled by the WiFi module.

I said "greatest" not "best", as I'm using a different yardstick. Ironman is the greatest not only because it was very good, but how it sets everything in motion. It starts an ambitious plan that somehow worked over the next 11 years.
Likewise, the first Avengers movie is very good, but what makes it great is that it actually was very good. Hollywood can stick 6 of your favorite superheroes in a movie and fanboys will flock to it no matter how bad it is, so it doesn't have to be good. But it was.

The outrageous over Trump sending illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities is hypocrisy at it finest. It's also total nonsense since @BarackObama "relocated" Syrian refugees and others to Red States over Blue States 2 to 1. hosted.ap.org/dynamic/storie…
The argument at the time was "there are more Red States than Blue States."

That's exactly the argument for the Electoral College and states' rights. If more populous states don't want to live with the consequences of their own actions, then they can steamroll the smaller states.
