After 11 amazing years, today is my last day @scifri. It's been such an incredible team to work with, and I truly consider each and every person there part of my family.
@cbquist, the moral compass of SciFri, who taught me the ways of radio: how to nail a time cue, and how to zap my hand to the side *with authority* when directing!;
@AlexaLim22, intrepid source-chaser, wrangler of live quizzes, and the brains behind our great State of Science series; sciencefriday.com/spotlights/sta…
@ctaylsaurus, whose interviewing skills have always impressed me (back to her first interview for us, at a cheese fair!); and who gave me a greater appreciation for NYC pigeons than I thought I'd ever have; sciencefriday.com/articles/to-ca…
@sciencewritr, whose creative ideas always push the boundaries of what our events and radio show can be (yes, we can put a color-changing sandbox on stage; sonar smackdown anyone?) sciencefriday.com/segments/team-…
@ElahFeder, whose investigative instincts, truly LOL sense of humor, and easy-going flair on the mic are a podcasting triple threat!;
@yohannamayer, wrangler of word origins, and conjurer of fascinating historical tales I didn't know I *needed* to know about but now I can't stop telling my friends;
@laurenjyoung617, who taught me that paleontologists actually use chainsaws to cut out the most delicate of fossils (!!);
@lgroskin, who taught me to forever fear the broadcasting abilities of a sneeze; sciencefriday.com/videos/nothing…
@valissarae, who always brought the best treats and had me shaking my fist at the #food slack channel from afar;
@dpeterschmidt, who on more than one occasion brought tears to my eyes with how damn good his podcast scoring abilities are, and the only member of SciFri to have stood beside me at a rotting deer carcass... for science;
@emaculategirl, whose data-driven insights about our impact on people's lives will no doubt illuminate our show production (I wish I was sticking around to see them!)
@Arieloquent, whose enthusiasm about citizen science and listener-driven creativity, and whose ability to bridge the worlds of science, journalism and education have always inspired me;
@msxgarcia, who sourced the most incredible, I-didn't-know-I-could-be-this-inspired educators for the radio show and our live events;
@funkminister, who prepped and produced her events with such meticulous detail I felt 110% prepared to take the stage;
@AnnieNero, who taught me to do better at connecting with our listeners, and keeping the "pub" in public media;
@jentunefenwick, who worked tirelessly to help us realize our ideas, by advocating for our journalism with all the cash-money people;
@el_skootro, who wrangled more projects than I can remember, was SciFri's definitive voice on grammar, and always had better taste in whiskey than I did;
@DannyD_310, who constantly pushed me to grow and think bigger about our mission, and what we could accomplish as a team;
and of course I can't forget @iraflatow, who took a chance on an intern way back in 2008, and forever made my life more sciencey! It's been an awesome journey.
@scifri Next week, I'm excited to be joining the team at @npratc here at @NPRWest!

See you soon @ailsachang @arishapiro @nprAudie @NPRKelly @caratallo @bridgetkelley @becsully ... looking forward to making radio together!
