Manafort's boss Deripaska filed a lawsuit against Treasury last year to have personal sanctions lifted. The Office of Foreign Assets Control sent Deripaska's lawyers a letter stating that he has been holding Putins assets and laundering funds on behalf of Putin. CC @senatemajldr

I do not want Trump's snipers in NY. This is outrageous and very authoritarian to harass and intimidate sanctuary cities. Wtf is Congress? Cut the funding until this insanity and retaliation ends
Send the snipers to Kentucky to fight Trump's white supremacists who have been elevated to the same level as ISIS by the FBI and pose far greater threat to America

Foreign Minister spokeswoman Zakharova gave details of a short meeting that no one knew about between Lavrov and Pompeo. She also stated that Pompeo walked out loudly saying "Good luck" and the audience gasped. Will update when more details come out
Details of the meeting are being kept quiet
The American side wanted this meeting kept secret while the Russian journalists not only knew about the meeting in advance but wrote about it shortly after. Not to mention Zakharova posting the meet. Details thought will not he revealed until Russia finds an effective time

Kim Su Il is also an employee of the Munitions Industry Department (MID); a WPK subordinate that is United Nations (UN)- and U.S.-designated for its involvement in key aspects of North Korea’s missile program, which is subject to a range of U.S. sanctions restrictions.

2. Deripaska is the CEO of Rusal, the biggest aluminum company in Russia. Ivan Glasenberg, CEO of Glencore, is a nominal control shareholder; sits on the Rusal board. Glencore owns 8.75% in Rusal. Glencore participated in Rosneft privatization in Dec 2016.
