I need to admit something.

I AM A BERNIE BRO. Insomuch as I've been a Bernie supporter online since 2015. I'm a white, middle-class, male. And yes, I'm angry.

I'm angry because I watched my candidate pushed out a primary through corruption, fraud, and conspiracy 1/7

the likes of which I had never seen before. And then, I watched as the anointed candidate lost the election they promised we would win.

I'm angry because I have seen proof time and time again of bias, blackouts, an bashing by every major news outlet and network. 2/7

I saw firsthand the incredible women and minorities that support Sanders when I volunteered. I've seen the army online. And I've seen them dismissed over and over in order to support a narrative started by Correct the Record, and DNC in order to diminish and degrade them. 3/7

I'm angry because I believe that everyone should have a right to healthcare, an education, and a fair income. "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" as our forefathers intended in our constitution. But we have been sold a bill of goods from both parties that if we 4/7

settle for less, we can get more. We are told this lie again and again. And I watch neoliberals and centrists telling us that change has to happen incrementally. Yet, nothing changes except for the rich and powerful. We are the only ones sacrificing. 5/7

I'm angry because we have receipts. But no matter how much we prove, we are the misinformation peddlers. No matter how often we win, we lose. And no matter how right our cause, we are wrong for wanting more.

How can we be anything but angry under and onslaught of being told 6/7

to stay in our lane. Submit. Toe the line. From a party that we fight to progress, but fights us into regression.

I will never stop fighting for someone I don't know. For everyone to have rights, dignity, freedom, and to undo the oppression from oligarchs and the establishment.
