I’m a 39 yo Black man with three kids and no health insurance for myself.

You saw how high the premiums and deductibles were. You think a medicare for all system is a game for me?

And now consider there are people who would love to be in my shoes —blessed enough to have a home

There are people online and in real life whose material conditions would make them grateful to have my lot in life.

Meanwhile y’all are chuckling it up living the life.

Social media has shined a spotlight into our conditions.

Having an oligarch swoop in and purchase the election from all the supporters of the candidates that actually participated in democracy tells us you have no intention of dealing fairly.

And expect us to just go along because you told us so? Lol. The hell we look like?

All an entire generation has is the f*cking hope that we can do better. That maybe we can elect our way out of the problem.

And you wanna steal that last level of Hope from us??? 😂

I’m hoping I can get some health insurance to take care of me when I’m no longer benefiting for my healthy genes. I’ve been healthy. I’m lucky.

Sombody else is sick everyday.
Somebody else is rationing insulin.
Someone else went bankrupt.

And you think we have time for games?

We chose to organize our society in a way where it’s okay to profit off people dying of cancer. Really? That’s the best the human spirit of ingenuity can come up with?

Pitiful.

Anyways. What keeps everything in balance is the fact the we all have to get up in the morning and get the bills paid. So we have to participate in the system. Which means, any dreams of real revolution dissipate when it’s time to clock in.

But now you want to snatch the dreams of working through this system so that, instead of a system of haves and have nots, we have a system where everyone has *enough.*

But that’s to much to ask. Lol. You gotta spend a billion to prevent that from happening.
