Claim: the capital of Alaska is Anchorage
FactCheck: FALSE, the capital of Alaska is Juneau

Claim: when the UFOs land in 2078 the little green men will eat us
FactCheck: FALSE, they will be blue and give us delicious space candy

#DavesCarIDService begins today with a bit of mystery; car #2 is definitely 31 Buick Series 90 but car #1 seems to be a different 31 Buick roadster, sporting what I think are either aftermarket Clark Firestone or General Jumbo wheels
Although photo #2 says Betty & Billy are playing in 1932, plate indicates 1931. Note wheels on #1 car, containing Myrtle and Frances: AFAIK, no stock car pre 1933 had steel artillery wheels, thus my guess at aftermarket
*Firestone and General began offering "balloon" tires for softer ride around 1931, requiring smaller diameter wheels, made respectively by Clark (Firestone) and Cleve-Weld (General Jumbo). Gramps seems to have sprung for a very early set of these.

Stick 'em up! Not much to go on here, but based on wheels / fender & body bead / hinge placement I think Gramps' moonshine runner could well be a circa 1926 Buick #DavesCarIDService
Meanwhile, on the other side of the Prohibition laws: the car carrying Untouchable Eliot Ness is giving me fits, due to its unusual combo of features. Best I can venture is a 1927 Hupmobile, but not with a lot of confidence. I welcome a definitive ID
before you rush in with your wild guesses, the unusual feature combo that need to match are the cantilevered visor (pegging it as a 26-27) + 6 lug rim wood wheels +cylindrical headlight buckets + bead on door. Usually indicates Nash, but this isn't one.

This is inaccurate.
1. Private companies are very happy to buy up services from lucrative, low risk parts of the NHS: young GP patients (Babylon), private orthopaedic operations, community health services (Virgin).
2. What they don’t want is all the expensive unwell patients, for example Circle bought NHS Hinchingbrooke Hospital...and then gave it back again.
Many private hospitals don’t have intensive care for example, so they transfer sick expensive patients to the NHS.
3. The 2012 Health and Social Care Act explicitly made it easier for non-NHS companies to bid for these juicy parts of the NHS. Even suing the NHS when they DON’T get them:

#FACTCHECK: Republicans SUPPORTED the Biden-led effort to root out corruption in Ukraine, by seeking the removal of a corrupt Prosecutor General, Shokin.

Shokin was NOT prosecuting corruption. He was accepting and extorting the corrupt for bribes.

There was nothing to cover up.
#FACTCHECK: Zelenksy was PREPPED by Yermak, Volker and Sondland.

He was told he had to reassure Trump on the call that he was willing to work with Giuliani to investigate Burisma/the Bidens, and the 2016 conspiracy theory.

There are even text messages.

#FACTCHECK: The legality and legitimacy of the Impeachment Inquiry has been affirmed by the Chief Judge of the D.C. District Court, in a ruling one month ago.

Litigating every subpoena thru the courts is a delay tactic.

Dems are not playing Trump's game.

#FACTCHECK: Rep. Conaway demanded Schiff cite the whistleblower's right to "absolute anonymity."

Schiff simply cited the IC whistleblower statute.

It's the whistleblower's choice whether to reveal their identity. Testifying would violate their anonymity.
#FTR: Don't take Schiff's word for it. Don't take my word for it.

Simply read the statute.

It's black and white.

It's the Whistleblower's choice alone whether to waive their right to anonymity.

Republicans are lying when they claim otherwise.

#FACTCHECK: The Disaster Relief bill was held up for months because Trump REFUSED to sign it if it included aid for PUERTO RICO.

It finally passed both houses, despite several attempts by loyal Republicans in Congress to block it.

Now Trump is trying to take credit for it...
#PREVIOUSLY: On June 3rd, the House passed the disaster relief bill.

58 loyal House Republicans voted against it.

#PREVIOUSLY: There were THREE other attempts to pass the Disaster Relief Bill in the House prior to the Memorial Day recess.

Each time, ONE HOUSE REPUBLICAN blocked the $19.1B package, out of loyalty for Trump.

The 65% approve vs 19% impeach/remove poll was taken at the start of the SENATE WATERGATE HEARINGS...NOT the HJC Impeachment Inquiry (in Feb 1974). [2/2]
@Lawrence #PS: Even the figures that the GQ article claims represents public opinion "when [Nixon's] impeachment process began" isn't accurate. He did NOT have a 65% approval rating in May 1973.

So these figures are ENTIRELY misleading. And @Lawrence knows better. It's disappointing, TBH.
