The @LGBConservative Twitter account has been permanently banned with no right of further appeal for alleged “impersonation”. Who are they meant to have impersonated? Have a look below at the LGB Conservatives account and the LGBT+ Conservatives account. Spot the difference./1 
@LGBConservative The @LGBConservative a/c made no claim to be affiliated to or to represent the UK Conservative Party. Its name specified LGB and not LGBT+. A crucial difference & the very reason why it needed to be set up./2
@LGBConservative Pre-2014, lesbian, gay & bisexual people grouped & labelled ourselves according to our sexual orientation. Since the LGB movement was hijacked by transgender extremist activists, LGB people are now attacked & silenced for asserting rights that used to be unquestioned./3
@LGBConservative The @LGBConservative a/c suspension followed multiple orchestrated complaints by homophobes, misogynists & conformist virtue-signallers, in an attempt to shut down voices that oppose trans extremist activism & the appalling harm it does to transed LGB children & women’s rights./4
@LGBConservative The @LGBConservative a/c displayed no Conservative Party icon, symbol or picture. It is absolutely legitimate to call a group “LGB Conservatives”: the Conservative Party has no monopoly or copyright over that word./5
@LGBConservative The word “conservative” includes people on the political right who may not support the Conservative Party./6
@LGBConservative The name “Conservative” may not be used in elections unless by an official Conservative Party candidate. However, it is permitted e.g. for a councillor who leaves the Cons Party to call him/herself an “Independent Conservative”. So the name “LGB Conservative” is unproblematic./7
@LGBConservative What is it about the LGB Conservatives a/c that was “impersonation”, if using the name is perfectly legitimate? Does the LGB Conservatives account really look like the LGBT+ Conservatives account? Wouldn’t someone trying to impersonate have done a much better job?/8
@LGBConservative So many of us know how lenient Twitter is with impersonators of gender-critical accounts & with those who abuse/threaten women & LGB people who oppose transgender extremism. Yet they fall over themselves to shut down LGB Conservatives on this bogus pretext of “impersonation”./9
@LGBConservative Twitter is acting as a partial, selective opponent of free speech & as an active supporter of transgender extremism against LGB people who assert our right to group according to our shared characteristic –sexual orientation– just as we did without any opposition prior to 2014./10
@LGBConservative Every persecuted group should have the right to organise & group independently. That includes LGB people. And LGB people on different parts of the political spectrum should be able to organise & group independently as well. Such as LGB Conservatives./11
@LGBConservative The more trans extremism sympathisers try to silence the voices of LGB people & prevent our right to group independently, the harder LGB people will work to end the appalling attacks on LGB children’s rights & women’s rights by hateful enemies of freedom, truth & decency./ends
