Senate Admits Sharing Govt Jobs Among Family, Friends

The Senate has dropped the planned probe of its members for job scam after it was discovered that both the leadership and all the senators were involved the sharing of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs’) employment
slots among their families and friends.The lid was blown off the scandal yesterday when the Senate Committee on Federal Character and Intergovernmental Affairs discarded the probe of allegations of secret recruitment and job racketeering in the MDAs.
It was discovered that all members of the Senate including the leadership were involved in the scandal.

I traveled with one of the transporters at Jibowu. After an excruciating traffic along Redeemed Church corridor, we finally commenced the journey to Onitsha at 10:30am. By the time we arrived the Niger Bridge, I had counted 60 checkpoints. I was painstakingly taking notes and few

NEW YORK — A Colombian national, and international narcotics trafficker and money launderer, was returned to his home country Nov. 26 by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) deportation officers.
This follows a joint investigation led by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Colombian law enforcement authorities, which led to his conviction of conspiring to import cocaine as a narco-terrorism conspiracy.

First things first, it is important to point out, again, that the news of both HSBC and UBS closing down what are essentially satellite offices in #Nigeria is really a non-issue.
HSBC for example, is cutting its branches in up to a quarter of the 67 countries it operates in last I checked, so again, that is not the issue.
What should terrify us is that in the last year, foreign direct investment into our country has plunged by a factor of 30%.

That is significant, and if #Nigeria were serious, there should be a cabinet level meeting, but no, meat-heads will be masturbating about "corruption".

Hundreds of young men and some women were picked up after a suspected terrorist calls them even once. It doesn't matter what the call is all about or who the caller is to the recipient. The implication can be dreadful to those involved and their families.
Idris Ali was arrested by the DSS in 2013 and remained in custody till date. His 'crime,' a childhood friend of his, got his number and placed a call to him, and because the caller was being trailed by officials, Ali and brother were arrested remained in custody since then.
