BHE doing well with 8.4% growth. It is the MSR group that needs further investigation. It is not clear whether they are earning sufficient ROE. I am sure the return on tangible equity is good but $BRK.B has paid substantial goodwill to acquire this business.
The investments continue to pour into GEICO. However the claims have gone up as well eating into underwriting profits.
BH primary group experienced higher claims and lower profit as well.
Retroactive reinsurance and Annuity losing money along expected lines $BRK.B
Dividends increasing thanks to Occidental dividends... $BRK.B
As expected, very low % in fixed income, the stocks surging in 2019 thanks to $AAPL and $BAC - $BRK.B
$BRK.B seems fairly confident that $KHC will recover and they will not need any write offs. Time will tell...

All in all, solid year, huge reported numbers but underlying numbers are more sober. Nothing new in the annual letter or alarming in the annual report.
