Sean got the 50 game VG Pocket Caplet Fast Acting dumped. Purchase was funded by @TheMogMiner Taito and Data East actually provided a license for this product, so it has 3 known titles as well as the usual SunPlus games.
@TheMogMiner That said, the ports are not very good. Space Invaders doesn't move as you'd expect (bullets update at 30fps not 60 as just one example) and Bust-A-Move is just the usual SunPlus rip-off but with new title intro and real sprites. Still has the horrible aiming slowdown etc.
@TheMogMiner Burger Time seems to be an original port (not just 'Big Burger' from the SunPlus range) although sound is very rough. The Bust-a-move is interesting in that it has the Bust-A-Move name but the Puzzle Bobble style intro.

@ray_tubular People post 'how do I remove xx' lists fairly often if you check forums etc. Traditionally it was 'Mahjong' games (and people would try to insult MAME by calling it MAMJONG etc.) then as soon as we reintroduced Video Poker, those became the target of abuse.
@ray_tubular Non-English games / clones are often the target too, as are Korean / Chinese games people consider to be junk. In some circles the 70s arcades as they're "not real games"

Since the MESS merger it is of course any consoles that weren't popular, or stuff that isn't games..
@ray_tubular basically there's a large core of people who think that only popular stuff *they* care about should matter, and the inconvenience of having maybe half a gig of stuff they don't care about in a MAME set is too much, even if they could just ignore it.

So apparently if I buy something off eBay, which is supplied with the wrong power adapter, and is a fire hazard, it melts and burns when I turn it on, so I throw it in the bin to get the stench out the house I'm not allowed to leave negative feedback due to 'feedback extortion'
I didn't even ask for a refund, I simple told the seller that since it was a low cost item I was leaving negative feedback as it wasn't as described ('working') and moved on. It was dangerous and I wasn't fishing it back out of the bin to return, nor did I want a refund.
so I'd advise strong caution against buying anything from 'ej-gaming' on eBay, as they're not willing to accept negative feedback for faulty and dangerous products without reporting you for feedback extortion after harassing you to remove it.

Here's a comparison between 2004 (Bush/Kerry) and 2018 (Cruz/Beto). Democrats gained ground among both whites *and* Hispanics, but the gains among Hispanics are larger.

Whites: R+ 49 (2004); R+32 (2018)
Hispanics: D+1 (2004) D +29 (2018)
Meanwhile, Hispanics have grown from 20% of the electorate in 2004 to 26% in 2018. They're still underperforming in comparison to their share of the voting-eligible population, but that's helped Democrats too.

Bernie's polling is decent, but that he does the 2nd-best against Trump (after Biden) is partly an artifact of name recognition. For instance, Buttigieg polls worse than Bernie vs. Trump. But Buttigieg actually has better favorables than Bernie among voters who know who he is.
It's certainly a messy relationship. Some liberals, including Bernie, have decent (though not great) polling. Some moderates don't. But favorability ratings, which allow voters to say they don't recognize a candidate, are a better way to assess this stuff than head-to-head polls.

You have to adjust for name recognition, though. Biden, at just south of 30 percent, is still something like a 2:1 underdog. And Bernie's position at 20 percent, as I wrote yesterday, is tenable but not great.
Per the chart above, Buttigieg's position is roughly as good as Bernie's on a "polls only" basis, or maybe a bit better. Empirically, you'd slightly prefer to be polling at ~10% with low name recognition than ~20% with high name recognition.

A few highbrow beers (although there's nothing *truly* highbrow on here) creep over into wineland, but that's sort of what you'd expect.

Went to vote today in the advance polls for #KingTownship today. Hadn't received my registration card in the mail but I went anyhow because #democracy.

I had some questions too.
Upon arriving, I was told that I wasn't registered for #municipal voting, and that it was up to me to make sure that I was registered for every election.

So I filled out my document and registered at the polls. Then I voted, as you do.
Now, my address has been the same for the past 16 years. I've been eligible to vote for the last 6.

So why are my parents the only ones in our household who receive voter cards? Why isn't this data already available? 🤔

UCC had opportunity to comment on the #Data.Protection & Privacy Bill. The enactment of this law is long overdue. A comprehensive law on the collection & processing personal information gives effect to the right to Privacy envisaged under Article 27(2) of the Constitution
UCC welcome the protections offered by the Bill in terms of export of data, breach notification requirements, data subjects access rights, automated decision making, compensation and the right to be forgotten and provision for financial and penal sanctions for breach of the law.
Distinction between Data collectors & data controllers.
The Bill should however clarify & distinguish Data Collectors, from Data Processors & Data Controllers. Clause 2 is inconsistent with international good practice which provides for two broad categories of Data Controllers
