So, I have, over the course of my career at this point, interviewed probably 80-100 prospective hires for various game creative positions. Most of them were writers/designers, but sometimes I was a Representative From Another Team for artists, sound people, etc.

So one of the weirdest things about writing spoken dialogue for games is realizing that you have to put some noise back *in.* (Thread)
If you listen to how human beings talk, on average our noise:signal ratio is pretty high. There's a lot of "um"s and verbal filler, and English speakers can't usually go more than a few sentences without using an idiom or other preset phrase.
In an average conversation, you could probably finish a lot of the other person's sentences, even if you don't know them that well.

A Diploma program is designed to acquire ALREADY ESTABLISHED KNOWLEDGE in a specific field of endeavour.

I am by no means a Britney stan, in that I don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of her work nor have I seen her perform live. HOWEVER, as a person whose entire adolescent soundtrack included Britney’s hits as they happened in real time, this take is hot festering trash.
First of all, Britney Spears is a world class dancer. Her choreography from her 2002-2004 shows/videos ALONE would leave Taylor Swift collapsed on the floor in rehearsal sobbing and suing everyone in the room.
