Why do I like to be alive?
So many reasons but I’ll state a few.
1. I like to be alive because of the anticipation of all the cool stuff that might happen in the future.
E.g: Have I used a transparent phone yet? No. You know those slim ones used in SCI-FI movies... ehen.

How about traveled to the moon with Elon Musk? No but I look forward to it.
Have I published my books, tv series and movies yet? No. Too many unfinished stories, 90% of the world population haven’t felt my impact yet. I look forward to that.

Have I lived like a baby girl? No. I don’t have a live-in chef yet, I don’t have someone who cracks my toes every morning, not even a masseuse that reports to mine every two days.

When I make them laugh, I have added to someone’s joy and that makes me feel really useful. I like being useful.
3. I like to be alive because of the thrill of the process of being successful. The unending zigzag gives one something to strive for.

4. Let’s not lie, the combination of fried goat meat and Ijebu garri is worth living for. As the garri is slapping me laidis, I’m using goat meat to defend myself. Oluwa ooo, the burst of awesomeness in my oral cavity can’t be explained. To be alive to enjoy it is amazing.
5. Saturday morning shower with loud Ayefele or Naija tuntungba music: I love Timi Dakolo but Saturday mornings are for kapaichumarimaripachupako. The solo grooving in the bathroom as I shave my legs, sing loudly and dance while I pretend to have an audience. THE JOY!
6. Love is sweet. Wo, let me tell you, bobo is annoying, goodness! Sometimes I want to walk away just so I can gain enough distance for my punch to carry enough weight to reset his brain. Sugbon, deep down, he makes my heart kikum! He’s also a good guy to me.
He sometimes acts like I embarrass him in public when I try to squeeze myself into the tiny space beside him. But, He loves it, I see it in his eyes and that makes me smile. I like to be alive to feel this.

There's no feeling of unhappiness when I write. It’s all peace and contentment.
8. My best friend needs me. She's too nice so God put me in her life to balance things out. I like to be alive so I can be here for her, I think she would be devastated if I were gone.

The little things count, we just have stop and smell the roses as we journey through life.
