And then the third thing I would do is edit the Han/Greedo scene so they just shoot at each other repeatedly and rapidly until they are both out of charges (approximately 61 shots apiece) and then Han throws his blaster and Greedo disappears in a flash like a Méliès skeleton.
Some of the blaster bolts visibly collide in mid-air. Some hit things on the table (which is now laid for a fancy formal tea). Some go off-screen, accompanies by sounds like ricochets and cats screeching.
That aside, I would leave the existing canon alone, save for replacing all the Wilhelm Screams with Goofy Hollers in order to promote brand synergy.
