Please listen to what natives are saying about Elizabeth Warren's letter. "What more do they want, she said she was sorry!" is ignoring the fact that the people she offered the apology to have laid out what they want and she offered the apology instead of listening.
She is my chosen candidate from among those running and she remains my chosen candidate from among those running, not because I think she can do no wrong or because I think her good points somehow "overcome" or "override" or "cancel out" things like this...
...but because we need a candidate, none of them are perfect, and I think things will be better overall under her than anyone else.
But "we can't expect perfection" doesn't mean "we can't demand better".
But "we can't expect perfection" doesn't mean "we can't demand better".
Perfect is one enemy of good. Apathy is another one.
