Stocks are flatlining because of an epidemic.

It'd be a heck of a good time to argue that healthcare as a human right is not only beneficial to society as a whole but also a smart and necessary economic investment.
But we can't have that discussion because our economic understanding is based on the idea that an economy has to be inhuman and only obsessed with the present.

Healthcare and general societal wellbeing is good for a sustainable economy, but this isn't a sustainable economy.
This is an accelerated, predatory economy that's built to accelerate, use people, dispose of them, and then crash before rebooting.

We have to take care of people and loose ourselves from this murderous cycle. We have to work for a future.
