So here's something fun in the midst of the COVID-19 hoopla: I have a cold.
All indications are it is just a cold. Colds can be pretty bad for me (I am a bit of an "at-risk" individual) but while I have a sore throat and a sharp cough, no worse symptoms. No fever, breathing fine

Under the circumstances, though, I'm probably going to be staying home for a while.

Hey, everybody. You know how much I hate getting unsolicited advice from strangers becuase it's almost inevitably obvious or inapplicable? Yeah, it's even worse when I'm sore and tired. Before this tweet, there were no questions in this entire thread, and that one was rhetorical.
If there is a human being on this planet that has not heard the good news about rest and fluids, hopefully their parents have that covered because they are too young to be on Twitter. Blocked one person already. Me updating you on my status is not asking for medical advice.
Twitter needs to roll out the update that lets us turn off replies so I can make a "Here's what's going on" post every once in a while without strangers thinking they can fix my life with a tweet, I swear to gosh.
