"Fundamentally unfair":
- Curing cancer is not unfair to those who died from cancer. No one should have ever had cancer.
- Canceling college debt and providing free education is not unfair to those who had to pay for school and were burdened by school debt.
You shouldn’t have had to pay for wanting to be better.
"Forgive":
No. Wanting an education is not something to be forgiven. We’re *canceling* debt they should never have been burdened with in the first place.
The only moral choice is to educate all, provide healthcare to all, and save everyone from the climate collapse. There is no moral alternative.
(Thanks to @FadhelKaboub for the idea of cancel versus forgive. Thanks to @rohangrey for the idea of must strive to educate all.)
