We started off with the most inclusive group of candidates EVER assembled. It was a thing of beauty. And then people started dropping out and then the debate smashing and caucus placing performance of the lead woman started to be erased by the media. Headlines mysteriously -
2/ left out her name in favor of the males around her. Her articulate, confident and powerful speeches were cut short or not aired. And she became, somehow, 'unelectable'. Really because misogyny.
And now, after being nourished by her plans, her energy, her eminent abilities
3/ you are going to ONCE AGAIN, stick us with two elderly white men to choose from. AGAIN! And one of them just had a fucking heart attack!!!!

@DevonHerrick @DailySignal What happened to those Americans? Prior to Obamacare, those with preexisting conditions were protected under the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (1996), which required states to enact measures to protect such people.

Which just goes to show… the way we've turned "sustainable agriculture & food" into a personal brand thing

rather than a very practical, grounded, "how do we do the thing" thing

The more I think about this and apply it to every mainstream ad, movie, TV show, and news story, the more it seems true:

They herd people into fictional groups to create a FAKE sense of belonging and need for acceptance, then divide the groups by pushing CONFLICT.
Most of the people I know don’t have a problem getting along on an individual level.

I used to sit and do legal work at a Starbucks, and got to know everyone who worked there.

One of the baristas was a white supremacist. A real one, who lived in a compound.

Not kidding.
I can’t remember how it was revealed, but given that I’m mixed-race myself, it wasn’t a “white supremacist” secret.

Everyone there knew. No one cared. We’d roll our eyes when no one else was there and he felt free to talk about his fear of interracial marriages.
