۱/پژوهشگران دارن با بررسی ژنوم ویروس در افراد مبتلا به COVID-19 و مقایسه اون با ژنومی که از سایر افراد به دست میاد اطلاعات جالبی درباره نحوه انتقال ویروس به کشورهای مختلف و همچنین تغییر و تحولات ویروس حین این انتقالات به دست میارن.تا به حال

۲/ تا همین حالا تقریبن دوجین نسخه مختلف از این زنوم رو شناسایی کردن. مثلن وقتی اولین فرد مبتلا تو برزیل شناسایی شد چون از ایتالیا به برریل سفر کرده بود همه گمان کردن تو ایتالیا مبتلا شده ولی مقابسه ژنوم ویروسش با ویروس ایتالیا نشون داد که با هم متفاوتن و در عوض شباهت بیشتری به
۳/ژنوم مونیخ داره. این sequencing ژنوم ویروس داره به صورت همزمان با گسترش ویروس انجام میشه و نتایجش به صورت متن-باز تو سایت Nextstrain گذاشته میشه.

۴/در غیاب واکسن این ویروس، این کار کمک بزرگیه برای محدود کردن گسترش اون و میشه مثلن فهمید اقدامات قرنطینه‌ای در کدوم‌کشورها ناقصه و نیاز به تمهیدات موثرتری هست.

A preoccupare è la sottostima dei casi totali, che fa pensare che nei prossimi giorni ci potrebbe essere ancora un "recupero".

La Commission a récemment annoncé un paquet d'aide de 232 millions € pour soutenir l'OMS & s'assurer que les pays où les systèmes de santé sont plus faibles ne soient pas laissés pour compte.

Un appel à projets de 10M€ a été lancé pour appuyer la recherche sur ce virus.

#COVIDー19 @ewarren @BernieSanders We need a progressive agenda on epidemics STAT! There is going to be panic, an emergency, hoarding and if Dems in office and Dem candidates do not prepare an agenda that is more than Trump is screwing up then Trump ultimately will win.
1. RELIEF FUND: Until we have univ. health care we need an emergency health relief fund. The # of critical cases, meaning cases requiring significant medical intervention, are more than ten fold the number of deaths. For many this will result bankruptcy levels of medical debt.
2. ER COVERAGE: Health Insurance companies should not be allowed to deny coverage for treatments that are not 'pre-approved' or "FDA approved' as all of the treatment options for severe cases of COVID are 'off-label'

#COVID-19: It’s possible to get infected a 2nd time. People recovered by their own immune system, but the meds they use are damaging their heart, and when they get it the 2nd time, the antibody makes it worse, and they die of sudden heart failure.

I don't find this unexpected. We had similar results in the study of SARS. Challenge with the virus after vaccination actually made the resulting disease worse. One theory is this may be due to an overactive immune response due to a cytokine storm.
What I find really troubling is doctors in China had to report this anonymously to avoid communist censorship. We are not getting the whole story here. Keep in mind we don't yet know how many cases this involves and we'll have to wait for more case studies in other countries.
