Or how about: A musical, "Damn Republicans." Smart liberal woman sells her soul to the Devil to become handsome 50 year old white man so she can run for and win the White House. After inauguration, Devil comes to collect, she shows him fine print she put in the contract...
...saying her soul can only be consigned to eternal damnation by an independent commission, which she's stocked with supporters. Devil curses her, retreats to Hell, while she sings the big finale: :"I Had A Plan For That."

Okay, if @PeteButtigieg is ending his campaign, time to say some things I refrained from saying because, you know, Neutrality and all that.

1) I know both Pete and @Chas10Buttigieg and consider myself lucky to do so. Two wonderful people who make an even more wonderful couple.
2) While never sure if Pete would make the best nominee for President -- I am not sure of anything -- I had no doubt he would make an excellent President, and someday, he still might.
3) All the people On Here and elsewhere who insulted him, mocked him, for not being Democratic enough, for not being gay enough, for not being progressive enough, for being insincere and manufactured... you were all, every one of you, dead wrong the whole time.

At the moment of Castro’s takeover, Cuba’s was among the most affluent, educated populations in Latin America.
Many of those educated middle class people supported Castro’s guerrilla war, often with funds, hoping he would, as he had promised, restore liberal democracy to the nation.
As soon as he seized power, he betrayed those promises and those supporters. Over the course of a year or so, he delayed, then canceled elections, declared himself first a Communist, then supreme leader, and seized and nationalized private property and industry.

I was moping about thinking about everything I haven't accomplished this last decade -- it's my nature -- when I suddenly thought of something I did in 2010 that I no longer do -- wander into my office alone, open up the laptop, and type the word HELP into the search box.
In August of that year, I was hit by a car and was laid up for a few weeks. Like a lot of people with near-death experiences, I thought about changing my life: because I didn't want the situation I was in to be the only thing I knew until the day when I would know nothing.
Changing it was terrifying, and I was afraid by doing so, I would lose everything. So I put it off for a few years. But things continued to be unbearable, and I decided to take the risk: things were so terrible, how could they get worse? I took a breath and then the plunge.

Basically, yes. It's not an affirmative defense but it will be an argument they make in their briefs, based on the evidence that comes out during discovery or affidavits that get filed

That language is more signaling than legal effect though

#Women have much greater #hormonal fluctuations each month than #men do. Simply put, a woman's thought life and #emotions are more prone to high highs, and low lows. This isn't a "design flaw" but rather how #God made a #woman to be in touch with the needs of small #children.
Nothing is more short-sighted as a #man than viewing a #woman as an "overly emotional" or "flawed" version of a man's thought process or #emotions. A woman that does not let her emotions out will become very #passiveaggressive, #depressed or #angry. Your job is to be an #outlet.
