For people paying attention, this is the most likely explanation for why the DNC establishment just consolidated all their support behind Biden.

They need to be able to play the “attacking a political rival” card for a little longer.
I don’t know a ton about the Burisma investigation, but I suspect it links back to other high profile politicians, and they are desperate to keep it covered up.

This article claims that Romney, Kerry, Biden, McCain, Pelosi, Schiff, Mueller, and Clinton all have ties to Ukraine.

If this is true and Biden exits the race, it is game over for them.

@shoe0nhead just watched your latest video about the establishment choosing Biden as their candidate. I suspect this is the real reason. It is not something many ppl on the left really want to look into because a lot of them will fall like dominos if it is true.

1. More media bias from the @nytimes. When @andrewcuomo named the first openly gay judge to the New York Court of Appeals that WAS the story. When @realDonaldTrump names the first openly gay cabinet member it is reduced to an afterthought.
2. Not only is it hidden away at the end of the third paragraph, but they do not even care enough to fact check it saying he “would apparently also be the first openly gay cabinet member”.

“Apparently” as in “we are not sure and are not even going to take the time to check”.
3. I understand a lot of people hate Trump, but this double standard from the @nytimes is awful. If they actually cared to champion gay rights they would do it regardless of which party is involved. This just proves that they are using identity politics to push their own agenda.

2. The Fed’s independence is always spun by establishment elites, MSM, and economists as necessary to create a functioning economy, but I have news for you. The current economy does NOT function for most of the population. The Fed’s independence is a huge part of the problem.
3. The Fed are the ones who control the money spigot. They are the ones who make sure the banks and too big to fail corporations get huge bail-outs. They are the ones who pump money into the stock market to enrich their friends.

1. Short thread: @JoeBiden was doomed from day one. He never had any real support outside of the mainstream media. They all knew he was never a serious contender. Their goal was to prop him up just long enough that they could try to pull off their impeachment of @realDonaldTrump.
2. Remember the impeachment itself was based on the public believing that Joe Biden posed a threat to Trump and was a viable “political opponent”. Without that the entire narrative would have fallen apart.
3. Biden struggled to even draw 100 people to his events. Look at the crowd size comparison at recent events for Biden and Trump in Iowa. If the media had been honest about this, absolutely no one would have believed that Biden represented any real threat to Trump at all.

Why won't any of these so called journalist ever ask the real question of @SenSanders it's a simple question. "Bernie are you a Marxist?" Not once have any of these hacks ever asked him that point blank. They allow Bernie to hide behind saying he's not a communist.

But, without explanation, the @DNC refuses to recognize the exact same pollster for #NewHampshire. The @BostonGlobe is one of New Hampshire’s largest circulation newspapers and for the #DNC to ignore the Boston Globe as a media outlet ignores the people of New Hampshire.

My poll to address the fake poll on Monday that gave #Biden a 32pt lead but then turned that just mean 180 people has closed. The poll was for 50 and under.

Here are the results:
Harris 39%
Buttigieg 38%
Warren 32%
Castro 23%
Klobuchar 21%
Beto 18%
Bernie 16%

There were several hundred write-ins, nearly half of which were @AndrewYang. Also getting write-ins: Inslee, Tulsi, Swalwell, Williamson, Gillibrand, Booker.

The function was to point out that people 50 and under who mostly do not have cell phones are not being repped in these national polls. And also that those small samplings of 400 or 50 people are not representative.

Writing about #Biden's role in mass incarceration this week.
Congress's mandatory sentencing laws during the Reagan-Bush years were the most Draconian in modern US history.
That's something Biden will have to explain if he ever campaigns outside white working class enclaves.

When I was teaching literacy in prisons & halfway houses while in the domestic Peace Corps in Louisiana & Pennsylvania, every one of my students was functionally illiterate. That means unable to read above a 5th grade level, the level deemed able to function as an adult.

These men and women were unable to read the instructions on a medication bottle, a food preparation label, a street map, an employment form. Imagine not being able to read how to prepare your child's meds or food, or apply for a job? Where does that leave you in adult society?
