As an intelligence expert, I've always said "Dossier" was fake. Some obvious reasons:
-it states that the person in control of Hillary "kompromat" intelligence file is Peskov. Peskov is a spokesman, equivalent of White House Press Secretary!
-It's written in pigeon English /1

-There is no way one of the most powerful people in Russia, Sechin, would have met with a junior such Carter Page
-It's dressed up as an intel doc (names capitalized, etc) but lacks any direct sources or verification /2

-alarming topicality. Steele's 'intelligence" arrives just as coup plotters need it. Highly suspicious, would be instantly dismissed by any intel service as a fake.
