We often avoid talking about it but I believe that the civil war has shaped the political posturing of the igbos than any other event over the last 60 years.
Kanu has become that.
Offsprings of the generation that fought a needless war still fight political wars- on both sides.
No region no matter how good, victimized or entitled can win the presidential election on it's own without collaboration.
Are there enough Igbos willing to reach out?
Please, study the processes and the years it took to go from a state player to regional player and a collaborator for the federal election victory
That is a blueprint that should be replicated in the SE.
It was when the regional victory was in place that the National followed.
What revolution of ideas or policies are shaping that state that people are willing to model after?
Who is the central figure leading a coalition of people implementing these?
Which state in the SE and which governor commands such response from his contemporaries?
The assemblage of perpetually angry-when-out-office people who are vocal about Ndigbos are not in this for the South East.
Cheers.
